Yeah, insurance is a little rough. Hehe. The Jeep is the worst. Dang SUV's are expensive!!!! My Mustang wasn't too bad because I have never gotten a ticket plus I had taken driver's ed and I have the "good student" thing that makes it a little cheaper. My sister's is pretty expensive because she got a 11 over ticket last year.

It really sucks though because we just built a new home and it's costing us a chunk too! I'm just lucky my parents have good educations and were lucky to get good jobs. Very blessed.

mine has a Z24,5 speed, and is just a two wheel drive.....it's acually pretty pepe for a little 4 banger with 180,000 on the odometer......had the speedo buryied once(105),it also gets like 35 mpg.....if yours is running crappy probly has problems......i'd say start with the carb(if it's carberated).....mid 80s nissans are infamouse for fuel problems.....*and rust*,had to track down fuel problems in mine (improber float level and the main jet kept clogging-dirty foat bowl, also the guy before me had to replace electric pump)....i've also heard and experianced fuel problems with other mid 80s nissans.....so check your fuel system

Mine has everything the same, but it's 4WD and it has 181k on it. I don't think it's carbureted. Some type of special injection. Can't really remember the fancy technical name Nissan gave it. To tell you the truth I have only had the hood open on it 3 times. Once to find out what engine it was, 2nd to change the oil, and 3rd to clean my battery connections because they were corroded.

Wait a sec. I'll just go and look. Hehe. Electro-injection. So I'm thinking no carburetion.

But the problem does sound like the fuel system.

I posted about the problem on Windsor Power.

I am the only one who drives Jade(2000 GT), because it's a 5-speed. If my wife is out of town & leaves it, I drive her 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan. It's a company car, but I'm an authorized driver. But ONLY if the wife isn't. She'll be getting a new van soon, a2002 Chevy, because the Caravan has 75,000+ on it.

The 90 Mustang GT is my drive to work and back car. (She is having some major problems right now, and is going to have to go in to a doctor.)

And my wife's 98 Explorer is the family ride.

An ugly blue 85 chevy custom pickup, 75,000 miles, automatic, 4.3L v6, and a cracked radiator. Since a new radiator is worth about the same value as the truck ($300), I'm going to continue to fill it up with water until is pours out as fast as I put it in. I only have a 2 mile drive to work and school anyways.

Oh...here's the rest of the cars at my house.

Dad- 1999 F250 super duty with the 6.8L V10.
Mom- 2000 Expedition with the 4.6L.
younger sister- 1999 Mustang vert., v6, 5-speed.
And of course my other pride & joy, the LX in the sig.

------------------
1989 lx notch
89,000 miles
5-speed, bolt-ons, 3.73, TFS TWs, TFS Track Heat, TFS Stage 1 cam
