Man, you guys have to learn how to have some fun in your life. PKRWUD is right on this one. If you want to live a "safe, risk free" (boring) existence, then you made the right choice, and shouldnt be second guessing yourself, and happy with your decision. There are tons of woman out there like this, doesnt mean they have a disease. She was looking to have a good time, and you blew it, bottom line.
I would have taken an oral favor, and probably passed on intercourse. As far as gettting her phone number, forget it. This isnt a woman you want a relationship with. This is a woman you want a quick night of fun and sex with, then you never see her again. Most guys love that kind of stuff, no commitment, etc... And the opportunity for that is rare if you dont live that lifestyle or put yourself in those situations where it might be available. But then again, maybe you go into her house for a beer, and her "boys" rob you and kick you ***. Bottom line, it would have been a high risk decision to make it happen with this woman, but hopefully exciting and worthwhile. especially if she was hot, and you are lonely... ok, im done preaching. Some advise...dont drive back there looking for her or go to her door. This would be a bad idea. I know this from experience. Just chalk it up as one piece that you passed up and mocve on... |

Merc-
I'm sure you were a perfect gentleman, I'm not getting on you for that. i'm actually kind of blown away (pun not intended) by the way this thread degenerated her to the point of pond scum without really knowing anything. if she was that bad, you wouldn't have picked her up, or waited for her at her friends,. or mentioned a dozen times that she was attractive. Your posts about your troubles recently hurt me too. my disater was an 8 year relationship with the woman I knew I was going to grow old with. Problem was, she didn't feel the same way. i should have left after 2 years, but I didn't. I wanted to believe her, so I did. Looking back brings anger and resentment, but I'd still phuk her today (38dd's and hair past her waist). Anyway, last night was a great chance for you to take that first step outside of this cocoon your in. I want to see you succeed. I also know phukked up neighborhoods and dope fiends. believe it or not, they're not all trash. But I'm not even going to try and defend them, but it kills me to hear the beer brigade criticzing someone who may choose to feel better about themselves with a different, quite possibly safer drug than alcohol (ever hear of someone ODing on weed?). Anyway, I just thought it was really sad how everyone turned her into trash, while patting you on the back for missing a great opportunity. I don't think any less of you for doing what you felt was right, Merc, I just want to see you heal. Unit, give me a break. Neither life nor the people in it are as one sided as your angle on this thread was. That's your right. I guess I just never saw that side of you before. Take care, -Chris

For what it's worth, I think you did the right thing. Lots of red flags in this situation but you were nice enough to pick up a stranger, take her to where she wanted to go and then take her home. I would have ignored her from the git-go but then I've been around the track a few times and don't take unnecessary chances anymore, especially in this day and age when a girl like that could yell 'rape' anytime and you would be in a big mess - for nothing. I don't need that kind of excitment, thanks. Still, I have my stories too and now you have a great one to tell. Macho/porno movie fantasies about instant sex from a stranger are great fun but the harsh reality can be grim and even dangerous. You trusted your instincts and are probably better off for that. I look at it this way; you can't get in trouble (robbed, caught with drugs she obtained, accused of rape or getting an STD) by saying 'no thanks' to her offer of almost instant sex, being cautious during the whole scene and not going back again. You were a nice guy but not a stupid guy. Nothing wrong with that. |

Guess you'll have to excuse me for not being the stereotypical bang anything that moves kinda guy. Quite frankly, it pisses me off when you have to nail every girl you get the chance to, or risk being ripped on.
Rookies? What the **** is that about? Wonder why it's the "rookies" analyzing something, and the "veterans" blindly rushing ahead. Aren't you supposed to gain wisdom with age? I gave you an Option#5. The idea that you can't analyze a situation and people down to the numbers, so you might as well ignore everything and live on the edge is stupid in my opinion. Tell that theory to the cops sometime when you get busted for something. "Yeah, I guess I just didn't give it any thought 'cause people are complicated." You're right. People are complicated, but after 20 years of being around them, you can get a little feel for what they might be thinking usually, or the ability to recognize when things don't feel right. Trusting my instincts has kept me out of a SHITLOAD of trouble. Again, like I said, I wasn't there so I have a limited feel for what all went down, but neither were ANY of you, except Damien. He didn't feel comfortable, whether or not thats because he was in a "cocoon" or whether he's cautious. It doesn't matter. If you think that I sit back and judge people based solely on their appearance, or that living in a bad neighborhood makes you bad, or that getting horny makes you bad, or that taking some risks makes you bad, you're nuts. This whole scenerio has WIERD written all over it. When things aren't normal, it might, just maybe, possibly deserve a little thought about what's going down. If you want an analysis ignoring instincts and everything around it: Damien, you wanted to see how far the story would go with this girl, and you chickened out (for whatever reason) when it took the turn you were in the back of your mind hoping it would, even though you very much doubted it would. As far as the girl? She liked the car, thought Damien was cute, had some friends in a bad part of town. She wanted to have some fun. guy likes girl, girl likes guy: Screw. nothing happens afterwards, cause you haven't thought that far ahead yet. Thanks, but I choose to look at things a little more than at face value. |

I know what you and Mach are saying.. I'm not saying she is a bad person, just that it is a risky situation.(Hey, I've been there) There is not a doubt in my mind that she was purchasing drugs at 1 am in the morning though, hey.. that doesn't make her scum. Sounds like she needed to get that 'friend' of hers the money so quickly, she focused more on the getting there than the risk of waving down someone at 1am in the morning. ALOT of people do drugs, more than you would like to believe, heck I did that when I was younger. It is someone's choice to either do it or not, but you can lose control and I've seen that happen too. I choose to not do them anymore.. Don't even like it anymore, not fun for me. Anyhow, I'm just saying that a girl that just blurts out something like that, bluntly, has probably done that a couple times before. Now if I dated her or even knew her, hell if I met her in a bar and felt comfortable with her, that is different(cuts the risk factor down quite a bit).. I'm all about fun man, its the morning after that gives me ulcers |

...same old Mercury :)
.....
Forgive me for not reading all of the previous posts... Mercury, I know it had to be pretty tempting, but we all know something that comes that easy, usually isn't worth it (ESPECIALLY in this situation with that girl-- you and I, and WE all know that). ...careful man. She knows your name and she knows your car. ..careful man...

69 Fastback.
Now if she was asian, That would be just about impossible for me to pass up. I probably would of lost control of my car and ran into someones house.
Truth is, if she was asian I probably would of went in for "That Beer". I know that sounds bad, but for me that a whole other story. Ya know man. |

I'm with PKRWUD on this one too. You can't judge someone after only knowing them for 10 minutes, and Lord knows Merc that you needed to meet someone like that after all the problems you've been having. I'd say go back over there and try to hook up with her again. If not to take her up on her offer, then at least to ease our/your curiosity. Find out what kind of girl she really is then you can come back here with another whopper of a story, or some I told ya so's. Either way, I think it will do you some good.
If it makes you feel better, take her out to a dinner and a movie then take her home Oh yeah, calling someone a junkie for the reasons listed above is just stupid. You don't know her. And anyway, so what if she was? There's a lot of whacked out people in this world, and someone who is hooked on drugs would be the least of my worries. At least she didn't pull a gun on Merc and drive him out into the country and hack him into little pieces with a chainsaw. Nope. She offered him a sexual favor for doing her a favor. I don't see anything in that that would be too terribly wrong. Granted I probably would have been cautious, but I definately wouldn't forget where she lived if she sparked an interest in me.

Dude, I had the almost the EXACT same thing happen to me when I was 18... I also had a bright shiney red mustang that was loud, LOL.
I just happened to be at a fast food restraunt and saw her arguing with her boyfriend. She stormed off and started walking down the road. As I was pulling out of the place she flagged me over and asked for a ride. She wanted to go over to a friends house, I think it was probably a crack house, so I helped her. It was also in a VERY bad part of town. I dropped her off and she went in, did her business and then came out. She then asked me if I could take her by her house. She lived in a pretty nice part of town so I agreed. She also offered me a hummer, but I turned her down too Then she told me to not forget her house, and that if I ever wanted to get that hummer or more to just stop by any time the white car was out front and she would help me out. I never did... I don't really know why either. XR1stang |

MERC,
Yeah i know what u mean. If i could even tell u some of the stories of what i have seen these asian women do u would flip out. Whatever that girl was doing or wahtever her intensions were me being single i could not have resisted a quickie in the mustang. If i was married or something different story , but that is not my case. Just take life for what it is for and have fun after all the bullshit we all die in the end. So enjoy the things in life that present them selves to u. Just the way i think.

Well Merc, the fact alone that you thought this was a "shocking" offer tells a lot. One, you arent used to this kind of thing (probably lived in small town all your life?), so you considered it "shocking".
From my perspective, this isnt shocking at all, and happens all the time. more so in big citys. And second, if you werent so "shocked" to begin with, maybe you would have handled it differently, with more confidence and coolness. Anyway, you made the right decision from a saftey aspect, and maybe next time this happens to you, you will be better prepared for the options that are offered to you. |

Mach 1.
I've had several similar offers before, but none as blunt and flat out as that. Usually takes an hour or two of talking to a girl, not 10 minutes. I came from Pittsburgh. Not exactly a small town. Live in Fayetteville now. Not a Big City, but sure not a small town. What shocked me was that she was so blunt about it and didnt do any candy coating at all. And the way things happened, it was more fit for a Porn movie than real life. Oh.......On a side note. That night, when I was 3/4 of the way home, I turned my radio onto the oldies station. Guess what song came on that moment. HOUSE OF THE RISING SUN (By the Animals. Song about a House of illrepute. ) |

I read into that as intercourse, not BJ. All the girls always offered sex, not a hummer to me. Heh.

Option five would have been very very nice, but it is definently the least possible of all.
