O yea before anyone gets on my case I DO ride in full leathers with race boots , gloves, and helmet at all times SO NO ONE start

Forget the zx6r Get a real bike Yamaha or Honda (let the war begin)

I think my next bike I have narrowed down to either the Rc51, R1, or if I can afford it the Millie R. But I would love to be able to keep the R6 for my race bike.

I know wishful thinking.

For all the other comments thanks you guys are too sweet..Now where is that woman.
How to look like the pink/blue Ranger.

I'll always race.. it seems I get stuck with the 1200's as well, they stomp me like I was riding a scooter. Buuuut it's all fun anyways! I'd love to race another 600, win or lose! I wouldn't mind! I ran close to the same times as yours when it was bone stock.
Mine's stock with a Vance and Hines exhaust system, Jetted, K&N'ed, and Synthetics.
But hey!! If ya ever find yourself down here or I go up there, We'll have to have a friendly race!

Dang!! Those 600 bikes are really that fast?!?! Makes my new(98) VFR800 look bad. Thats almost a full second faster than the mag time on my VFR.. What do I need to do to keep up?!?! I can't believe I got the 800 because I wanted more than what the 600 offered... I need to go back and research this alittle more...

.

Right here!!

Yes Nikki is the anti-squid! She is also VERY lucky to have parents that help her with safety equipment...most women (and men) that ride have folks that are practically ready to disown them for it Now her dad just has to talk with my daddykins!! (kustom leather time!)

The ZX6r is a good bike for the street, bc you get all the oomph down low, but the R6 revs higher, so it comes down to what YOU want out of a bike. Also, the Kawi is better for a first rider, and I think Nikki will agree with me that the Ninja is a tad more forgiving in the turns compared to an R6

Go with a Honda!! *vroooom*

Thanks for posting those cute pics N, even though its IMPOSSIBLE for women to do anything physical in black boots Hopefully between the 2 of us, we can change that stereotype! Hope you are doing well, hadn't seen you post in a little while =P

Hey Belle about time I know Damn black Boots
The zx6r sucks in the corners IMO but a hell of a better starter bike than the r6 BUt I like leave the kawi bashing alone. A bit drunk atm hehe. Preparing for the 21st B-day just around the corner.

Lets just say ( so I can still get a street race when I want to) the ET are consitanty 11.52 or lower My 60ft just blows

Apparently you haven't been watching the racing scene. Right now it seems to be just a battle between Suzuki with the GSX-R 600 and Kawi with the ZX6-R. I'm personally hoping for Suzuki myself. If nothing else I'll take the Gamma out for a race. 2 stroke 500 with a full out stage 1 racing engine by the best in britian. This is also the street legal version of the bike that Schwanz took the world championship on in the late 80s. Can't wait to get that thing going again.

Yup the GSXRs are doing well but the Kawi's are a joke least the 6r. I have both in my garage and if I want a nice street cruiser then the kawi all the way or if I was going to make a 100% drag bike it would be a busa or a 12R. Pick up the lastest roadracing world The kawi was the worst in all CC's and in all the test they did between all 4 riders (one being female) Personally you ride what you enjoy. My guy likes his 6r and I think its a great 1st 600cc bike but it isn't a refined as the Honda and Yamahas are when it comes to really wanting to get to the track (road track) ON the strip they do good though.

Suzuki's IMO just need to make the bikes look different.

Everyone likes their own bikes, I try not to trash someone elses ride... uncool. There are quite a few bikes out there that aren't up to par, but I keep my opinions to myself, cuz they really like them.

Default mini bikes

Maybe it is just my size, but I just can't ride those 600's. They seem like mini bikes to me. My 750 isn't as fast as the new bikes anymore, but you don't have to be way up on the cam to get out of corners. More than fast enough to get in serious troube out here, few weeks ago saw two guys on gsxr's get busted by a Helicopter. I had been riding with them but they were crossing double yellows on blind corners (smart guys eh?)
I'd race all comers all the time. As fast as the bikes are its all about the rider. Taking my bike for a three trip this weekend, the weather is soo nice out here.

O enjoy looking at other rides and if you ride and not pose your a cool person in my book. Just stating a few facts about the 6r performance on the track. For regular riding and traffic I can tolerate the 6r (no way will I say I like it hehe)

I ride a dirt bike, and have always wanted to get my hands on a street bike.. thats something my parents seriously are against. They wont even let me change my dirt bike street legal.. I can understand that though i guess, california being one of the worst driving states in the US...Ohhh how i cant wait until im on my own How things will change...
