I'd have to say '66 to '71. I can't stand the looks of new cars, they all look the same to me.
Whenever I see an old car I always ask "What's that thing?" hehe Anywho...

Well I really like the fox bodies. The 79-93 mustangs are my favourite ones(especially 85-93). I also really like the 96-98 svt cobras and plan to get one before the end of 2003. 67-70 fastbacks too.

Rebel...
I'm going to be a rebel here and be the first person to say the 94-95 GT's/Cobra's.
Then the 67 through 70. Of course ALL mustangs kick a**, but these one's kick that much harder |

I would say my absolute favorite would have to be the 65-66. My first mustang was a 65 fastback. I still dream about that car.

i'll throw in the second vote for the SN95 cars. i just don't see alot of '94-'95 GT's and Cobras in great condition anymore. and i'm always asked this line of questions: "what year is that, a '94? Does that have the 5.0 in it?" I guess there's something mysterious about the 5.0
then the '65-'72 stangs. all the Bosses and of course the 429 SCJ are just punch-you-in-the-mouth tough-looking. Mach 1's are a favorite as well.

dang.. um ok..
1964-427 roadster--jus nasty 66-69 2+2 shelbys/gt 87-93 5.0(93 was the sleekest IMO) late year SN95(97-98)the edges are rounded alot of gap between he pannels fixed by this time, HP respectable. 03-cobra (le droooll!!!) a factory warantied power adder??how can i not lose? 04-whoa mama... look what jus walked in the stable. i love all the years, except those wacky 74-77models during the gas crisis..(yuk) not really fond of the early fox 79-83. looked to "camaro like", with those sunken headlamps. JMO not really sure about those wild 74 king cobra's with the decals..

Favs
Man this is a tuff'n. I like all of them except the 74-86 stangs. ]
But my favorite is the 70 Mach1. Then 67 fastbacks, then 71 429 SCJs. The 5.0s rule the road though, well and the tracks I guess. Dont care much for the 94s+. The new ones are just awesome, they finally look tough and have the power to back it up. But before I die I want to own a Pantera. Black on black with all the goodies. Top speed 200 being pushed by a turbo charged 351. Now that would be a hell of a car. Whew. |

From the factory, as a general model rule.
1969 2001-2002 1967-1968 1987-1993 1999-2000 1987-1993 1994-1998 1985-1986 1965-1966 1974-1978 1970 1983-1984 1979-1982 1971-1973 Looks like the Mustang II is middle of the pack for me. I happen to like the Cobra II's. |
