You can't tell a toyota from a honda or a 98 from a 02 ?? Please, give me some creases ... some corners ... something where i can tell its a Mustang without having to walk up and look at the emblem ! |

I still hold to the idea that the new Mustang will look good. Consider how different the SN95 cars were from their concept. Basically, any car with a team of people working to make it a bad asss pony car should turn out ok. If not, we'll lynch Druids. J/K man, we'd never do that.
I'm going to the preview night for LA Friday, but don't excpect to see anything better than the Mach 1 or maybe the GT40. Figure they'll show the 04.5 in Detroit, and expect that everybody will be pleased with the final product. I mean, how bad could it really be? It's never going to be a Chevy!

I don't think that is what it is going to look like at all. Maybe some of the same features, but overall I think it will be very different.

Here's a link to an article about the car. Thank God it's just a concept /show car, but I figured it was. Let's hope the actual car will look better.
http://www.thecarconnection.com/inde...&sid=175&n=156 At least it's got 400hp.

I think this pretty much sums up what we are wondering about...
Taken from the articles at the website Fireman posted: With the Mustang convertible Ford is unveiling at the North American International Auto Show, the automaker will take a giant step forward into the past. This thinly disguised version of the all-new Mustang going into production later this year was born in the automaker’s Living Legends styling studio. And if it evokes a sense of déjà vu, that’s precisely what Ford Design Director J Mays had in mind. "How close are the show cars to what will actually hit the street in 2004? Close, but those who’ve seen the final designs say they’re actually more impressed with the production vehicles. The taillights, for one thing, will be more true to the original design." It's probably going to resemble the artist rendering previously posted in this topic. Now that I reall like

If you ask me Chris looks like one mean mother ******. lol If that guy came to my house asking for me, I'd be pretty worried.
How tall are you? You look fairly tall in the pic with your goate. Also as for the Mustang, it'll be interesting what comes out of it. It'll take time to adapt to it. I know I'm pretty impressed with the engine Quote:
The rear lights of the 2005 stang also give me that Shelby rear lights kinda effect. I'm not really suer what Ford is trying to accomlish with it but time will only tell. §am.
