Well, Carlsbad is out for me on the 14th. A $1300 job came up for that weekend, and I'm afraid that has to be my priority. Let me know when the next meet will be.

Take care,
~Chris

are you trying to say that getting a chance to see ME isn't worth $1300? What a crock

Default A Sure Thing

If your looking for a reason to race in CA, let me give you one. Mustang Drag Day 4! It's only the biggest MUSTANG race event of the year!!! If you want to compete against or watch about 150 mustangs, from 15 sec.daily drivers to 8 sec. outlaw mustangs then you can't miss this event. We have the backing of Vortech Superchargers, Paxton Superchargers, AFR heads, Raceway Ford, and Magic Ford. This is our 4th event in two years, each succeding event grows larger thanks in part to racers like yourself. Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords was there to cover our 2nd event, you can see the 3 page write up in the April 2002 issue. The reason we need everyone's support is to promote mustang drag racing in the West. In doing so we can perhaps in the near future attract the promoters of Fun Ford and NMRA to hold an event out here. Interested? More info at www.paxtonauto.com www.vortechsuperchargers.com www.lacr.net

Ok gang so whats the consensus ? is it gonna happen and if so when ?
I might be able to come but only as moral support cause the car isn't done yet, and its a Falcon not a mustang anyway.
I guess I could jump up and down with a flag like induction, but that would be an ugly scene at best
So I better just stick to moral support

Default Race classes for M.D.D. 4

By the way, there are 7 classes in which to run at MUSTANG DRAG DAY 4 aka Ford Nationals West. 1. All Ford money 2. All ford trophy 3. Mustang street tire 4. Mustang slick tire 5. All Ford truck 6. Quick Sixteen 7. Open Grudge. This event is an all FORD event, so if you drive a Lightning, Galaxie, Pinto, or any other Ford vehicle, you can race in the non-Mustang classes.

We are going to Carlsbad Saturday 14th, 2002.

There are plans to meet up in Orange County if you are coming from the north. I will edit this with a link to the other thread when I have time.

The LS1 boys are all pumped up to go, so we need to make a showing. Any other racing can be done on your own time.
