Ya know it's scary, but I think it looks a little better than the actual taillights.

I was going to ask if you guys can read, because if you had you would know that it is a concept and the real thing will be different in certain areas.
I believe they will have the red convertable concept you have seen above at the North American Int'l Autoshow in Detroit and a silver coupe concept. Key word.......Concept, not production. They will get it right. Don't worry. How many of you disliked the SN-95 design when that debuted? I think the coupe is going to look very badass. And apparently the seats in the concept are very very nice according to Motor Trend. Very confortable and supportive that is. Lets wait and see until the real thing is here.

Anyone remember the Mach III Mustang? That was a far cry different from the actual production model. And the more I look at this car the less I dislike it. I still think it could use a few changes, but it's not all bad. I think a Coupe version would look a lot better.

I think this Mustang is ******* beautiful. Since it will be awhile until production, I'm sure things will be changed. I'm positive that interior will never make production althought the guages are beautiful. And I hope the "Cougar" taillights don't show up on the real one. And this thing SURE AS HELL looks like it was designed off the late 60's Mustangs. It is everything that was sexy about the 60's Mustangs with nice, new, clean, modern lines. This car is a marvel of automotive design in my opinion. And I feel it has captured the very spirit that made the first Mustang a sensation back in 1964!
I have a feeling what is happening here is you people have gotten so used to your Mustangs that the idea of something new comes under too high an expectation. A expectation that simply can't be met(not to say this concept fall short). I remember when the '99 came out: many people hated the design. I thought it was fantastic! Finally, Ford brought back a tough, musclecar appearance. Now many people have warmed up to it. I personally can't stand SN95's they are so pansy looking IMO. I know I drive an LX which many may feel is pansy looking, but I don't. There is a huge difference between a 4cyl LX and a 5.0, it has to do with the tailpipes and pony's obviously. I also kept the black trim which is a very prominant and masculine feature, I don't know why people paint it body color. To get back to the point at hand, I think you people should take it easy and give it a little time to grow on you and if you're not the first one in line at your local dealership, then come back and start trashing it again! Don't get confused, now. I'm not saying people should keep there opinions on the new concept to themselves. I'm saying stop all the hardcore trashing of each others opinions. Time will tell all and meanwhile here are some more pics!

That's the concept that's at the auto shows right now. Officially, it was designed with a '67 in mind, and there will be many changes before production. But, that is the look they are going for.

When I fist saw this car I didn't like it all that much. Especially the front and back of the car. But the more I look at it the more I absolutely love it. I think I just had to see the Coupe (or Fastback) for it to really grab my attention. I have seen drawings of what is "believed" to be the actual production model, and it is by far the most beautiful Mustang ever made in my opinion. It closely resembles this car, but there are some very distinct differences. If it's actually the one they plan to build it is the Mustang I have been waiting a long time for, and I will be buying a 2005 Cobra as soon as they are released. I can't wait!
