Cool

Where did my username come from..

When I was younger and before I had my driver's liscense,I'd look at mustang magazines and dream of someday owning one.

Finally I bought myself a 85GT and now have a 87GT,so when it came time to pick a username for the site, only one thing came to my mind...

Several years back, when I first became a policeman, the local thugs gave me the nickname of robocop. Most police develope a nickname early on and that is what people will know you as.I was lucky to get a good name as I know co-workers with funny ones like mater head and tater head.(there partners)I got the name after several foot chases and I was always able to catch the younger fast guys.I also try to stay in shape and can look very intimidating if I have to so the name just followed me around through my career.

Me too. Actually, I was going to use the name "Harry Paratestes" but I didn't figure it would go over well.

That's a good one, Harry! Are you related to Heywood Jablomie?

My name is Stan Grrr. No, not really. Just kidding.
I started out here as SisuStang. Sisu is a Finnish word meaning strength/endurance/stubbornness. I got tired of explaining what it meant, & by that time my car got to be pretty nasty with the s/c & all, so I decided to change my username, & Stangrrr just popped into my head.

IMHO, August 27, 1990, and March 19, 1982, will always be two of the very saddest days the world will ever know.

Take care,
-Chris

Wasn't March 19, 1982 the Mt St Helens eruption?

Did you know that the helicptor that Stevie was in was actually meant for Eric Clapton? I wish I were old enough to have seen SRV play live just ONCE.

No. It was the day Randy Rhoads died in a plane crash.

Take care,
