Having fun with people in your car....
Does anyone else like to scare people with their car?
Example: Someone who has never ridden in your car, or any Mustang for that matter, gets a ride for the first time and you deliberately try to scare them by launching from a stop at a ridiculous RPM, getting rubber through three gears, or going sideways around a turn with absolutely no traction from the rear tires. How's that for a run-on sentence I personally enjoy scaring people who have never ridden in a Mustang. Even though it's basically stock, you can still have some serious fun with first and second gear. I find it oddly appealing to see the look of desperation on someone's face as they try to grab onto anything they can to make themself feel secure. It's absolutely priceless.

Ahahahaha.... awesome... I love doing that.... only when it's safe of course... the best is girly girls who drive little family sedans and when the tires break loose they scream for dear life and grip whatever they can till their knucles turn white. I always get on it just a tad whenever I have a girl ride in the car to see how she will react. If she tells me to slow down, I find the nearest big empty parking lot and do a few donuts. and they go and i go and afterwards they are like and I go

oh yes, I enjoy doing that too. My car isn't terribly fast as it is stock but you can have fun in first and second gears.
The last person I "scared" was my daughter's new boyfriend. I had just gotten the car out from winter storage and I said "Do you want to go for a ride?" Of course he said "YES!" So after a couple of smokey burnouts and running it up through third a few times I stopped the car and looked him right in the eye and said "Don't you EVER do that with my daughter in your car or any other car!" As the color came back to his face he said "I don't have a car that could do anything even close to that" and then he took a breathe and a smile slowly filled his face. I felt a great deal of satisfaction. Oh yeah, his car is a 92(?) Escort wtih an auto transmission.

The best time I've ever had scaring the crap out of someone is when I took a friend of mine out on a road that everyone used to race on called "The Quarter".
I came to a dead stop on the highway, no one was around. I powerstalled it up to about 5000 RPM in first, then eased off the brake and kept the RPMs around 5000 as I let the back end slide around back and forth a little. I left a set of about 30 yards of 10" wide black strips down the middle of the highway that went back and forth like an "S". Then I took it up to about 115 mph full throttle for him. I flipped a b!tch and was gonna fly back into town but he told me to take it easy because he didn't know if he could handle it so I just barked the tires a little and took it into town easy. Whenever he rode in my car after that he told me to rod it a little. He liked it, just freaked him out the first time. Last edited by 6T9PONY; 05-05-2002 at 05:01 PM.. |
