Question AutoCad on windows XP?

Is it possible to run Autocad on Windows XP?

I just got a new computer and tried to install autocad 2000 on it, but autocad doesn't support XP.

On their website, it doesn't look like autocad 2002 supports XP either. Are there ways to get around this?

That is interesting that some of you can run the older versions on XP. It won't let me install it on XP, and as said before, the website says it isn't compatible either .

we had autocad 2000 LT installed on a machine with XP Pro and on another machine with XP home.

It ran great on XP Pro and had a few problems on XP home, it would crash when using certain commands. The IT guy did something pretty intense and got it to work on the XP home. No idea what he did but it definately was not something easy to do.

this may also be different because it was LT.

The easy route is to buy (or pirate depending if it is you or your company paying) 2002
