Well I think that cam you are using is aimed towards when the nitrous is on. So your engine will loose a little power running naturally aspirated. So I would have to guess about 670hp. Good luck with the engine. Hope it runs well!

Like 93CobraR said, that's close to Nascar setup. If they put out over 700hp w/ smaller 9:1 compression and you're at 13.5:1, ported SVO intake, w/ 417ci, you gotta be close, but on the Dyno and realistically speaking, I'm gonna say 635hp. (I can't see ANY way that it could be in the 400s. That's way too low.)

I agree with the nascar idea, that is why I guessed like I did (660). I was going to guess more, but I have a hunch it will be a little less, brand new motor, might be a little stiff. Maybe this will help the other guessers, even though I want that shirt also.

You obviously made a mistake in your math: The double integral of f(x,y) with respect to x and y where f(x,y)= Pi * X(1/Y) is obviously = Pi/2 * (x)^2 * ln(y) Your answer should have been 563.41664823 hp @ 6612.77653 RPM! Yeah, I am going to have to borrow my friends Internal Combustion Engines book and hook up the equations to figure this one out.
95mustanggt, yeah your right engineering does make you think of the technical side of things. I'm in my 3rd year going for a mechanical engineering degree and I always do stuff like that. I'm gonna say 550 HP, if that hasn't been guessed already. If it's more though, I'll be happy.

hehe a lot of these lower numbers could be made pretty easily with a 347 and not even close to the compression level he has.
btw Kevin-what kind of fuel will you be burning? |
