Default Street tires?

I know there has been previous discussions as per street tires. Is there any concensus on what is the best street tire? I realize that it's always a trade-off between hardness/softness and traction. I'm just wondering about the values between BFG/Nitto/ET Streets, etc.

Any and all opinions are appreciated.

Rev

For sunny weather (read: no rain) I'd say the new ET Streets are your best bet. They are supposed to be super soft and hook like crazy. I have Nitto DR's on my car and they still have a TON of tread after ~8000 miles. They hook decently too....but next year I'm switching to the ET's.

Rev, if i were you then i would probably seek advice from someone with slightly more advanced spelling skills than 5.0 Kid. No offense kid, it's just that there were a good many errors in that post. That's not to say that once you decoded the post it didn't contain some useful information.
