Yes. With solid driving you should be in the mid/high 13's somewhere.

All that exh work without any engine mods might hurt your torque. Try it on a set of drag radials, then you might crack a 13. Good luck

No torque! You have probably right. I have a 190l/m ford motorsport pump and a E303 Cam in a mounth or 2. Looking for used aluheads in sweden! I want to wait with intake until I now what I will have under

I can agree with the lack of low end, but it doesn't say whether they are shorties or long tubes. If he has longtubes the loss of torque won't be nearly as substantial. Had he put 1 5/8 shorties and no h-pipe, the exhaust mods wouldn't have helped him at all, but with the H, he should pick up enough top end to compensate and actually add a little. The 3.55's should get him into his powerband pretty quick and keep him there.
The 14.6 was your first time at the track wasn't it joakim? I think you can pick up on that with some more launches. I'm guessing with practice you could cut a couple tenths off your time without the mods, hopefully you don't spin too much with the 3.55's. If you get a good launch I still think you should be in the 13's. |
