Thumbs up Signed and sealed!

Well I resigned from my job this morning.

I have been offered a position in Dallas TX, and have accepted it! I'm leaving the barren north and coming down south.

I'm really hoping to get involved in all kinds of mustang things (shows, races, etc.)

Also I'll try to get as many parts as I can as I'm sure they will be cheaper than in Canada.

You have no idea how hot it is there man. I'm from the good ol north myself (Minnesota), and I've been to Dallas. You know when you walk outside and it stings to breathe, say -20* or lower out. Well, reverse that. When it's 40*C or 110*f out, you step outside, and you can't breathe, it's like you're breathing hot chocolate! Too hot! Oh well, I guess the snowbirds from up here adjust .

Welcome to the US of TX (Texas is in it's own little world I think), hehe.

Good Luck!

Unit5302,

You're right...Texas is pretty much its own little country. In fact, ask most of us which we consider ourselves first: an American or a Texan, and a good majority will say "Texan."

95mustanggt,

I think you will really like it here. Texas is a great state. Also, the Dallas area is a mecca for Mustangs. You'll never know what you pull up next to.

You'll have to get use to the steaming hot weather in the summer..and some of the severe weather you'll get down there. Anyway, a little incliment weather is good for you...gets the adrenaline flowing. If you want some real severe weather head up to the panhandle sometime and we'll go race a few twisters . Only thing about 'em is that they're kinda like ricers...they make all this noise and then blow by you when you're not even racing...won't even stop at a light to let you line up.

Seriously though...if I'm in the area, I'll look you up.

Scary, because Monday it got to 72!!
A truism in Texas:
If you don't like the weather, wait an hour....

Silver is right about the diversity of cars here, from rusted out 72 camaros to brand new Ferraris, you never know what you're going to pull up next to at the light...

When do you get here 95?
It looks as though the Procharger will be in around 12 days from now... YEEHAA!!
(That's Texan...)

Yup...it's cool up here today...suppose to rain all weekend.

Oh, and check it out. Tomorrow they're calling for 40mph average winds with gusts up to 60 mph. Ever stick you head out the window on the highway?....yeah baby YEAH!

I've seen it all in one day. I remember a few years ago, it started off in the morning with fog, then it rained, hailed, the wind blew like crazy, a tornado touched down a little southwest of my house, and then it snowed that night. I'm not making that up either. Go figure. West Texas ROCKS!
