Hooray Holiday Bowl!!

Just watched them ol' Raiders roll over Cal. Final: 45-31. Cumbey with 520 yards in the air and close to 40 completions. About time he had a consistently good game. He's been the biggest liability for TTU this year. Mack and Henderson did a good job on the ground against a supposedly tough run defense. Henderson is going to be one hell of a pro running back after one more year in school.

The thing I can't understand is that not many were giving Tech much of a chance against 4th ranked Cal, even though cal ranked 57th overall in pass defense. That's all Tech does....pass, score, pass, score, pass, score..... Can you say overrated?? No way they would have been number four if they were located in the Big 12. Tech isn't much better than middle of the pack in their conference, but that's better than 80% of the teams in the rest of the nation.

Anyway, good game, and GO TECH!!

Let's see if Texas can pull it out againt Michigan.

I dont think Cal played to thier potential. I think they just didnt care after they got snubbed from the Rose Bowl. That isnt an excuse but thats what it looked like.
