it stops the front end from flexing left to right, up & down, twisting in other words.

Its also called a strut tower brace. I have one and the "seat of the pants feel" made the car seem quicker. There is another brace that goes under the car similar to the one under the hood (cant remeber what its called) This brace made a big difference in handling. I recommend both of them and of course sub frame connectors. "If aint tight, it aint right". LOL
These stangs flex a lot and this is stealing horsepower. Tightening up the frame gets the horsepower to the wheels instead of flexing the frame. Chuck88

Im gonna get the full subframe connectors, strut tower brace and k member brace packaage from Maximum Motorsports in the near future
Sicy - The stru tower brace shouldnt be hard to install. Its basically just a bolt on. Sub frame connectors are best welded on.

Mote carlo bar
And don't forget the "Monte Carlo bar". It goes side to side between the shock towers. I know, mine is old hat, but it gives the idea,

Were you able to recover much of what you put into the other car when you sold it?

In total I got about 16k for the Yellowjacket, which is a pretty big loss, but that's pretty much par for the course in our hobby unless you own a 60s\70s muscle car.
Right now I'm ramping up to get started on the 83 coupe restoration. This baby will be from the ground up...

You say in total, so did you part it out some of it?
