Bad luck with motors
Well just recently I swapped out my original stock roller rockers for some new ford motorsport roller rockers and one of the rockers came apart and put a hole in the top of the block and ruined the cam and motor. The lobe pushed the roller through the top of the motor.
So it looks like I will be rebuilding the motor. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do about the rocker failing? The bad part is I still have not been able to get it to the track for some real times. When it went out I was just driving home to get ready to go to the track and it started making a ticking noise then it just quit. At first I thought the cam pin was the only thing broke but when I pulled the intake there was a big whole with part of a lifter sticking out of it. This sucks.

Dude, I don't know what to say. That really sucks hard. This is turning into an absolute shitcan week (see my thread about it having been a lousy couple of days).
How many miles were on the rockers? I can talk to my buddy Jim at Hawaii Racing (Ford Racing Retailer), but I'm sure he's going to say your SOL. Take some graphic pics and post them. Believe it or not, that might make you feel better. Good luck, Bro. Take care, -Chris

Take some pics, go to the seller and find out who their rep is. Take your complaint to the rep, make sure he gets the pictures, and if he won't help, sue their ***.

I had a little over 1000 miles on them when they went.
I will try to get some pictures and post them.

Damn sorry to here that man. Hope you can get some sort of compensation.
By the way I love your flames! That is the sweetest flame job I've seen. I was thinking about getting something like that done only in purple ghost flames on my white stang.

As it turns out, Jim will be here in a couple hours (I'm putting an alternator and an oil pan on his Fiero this morning). Email me with the details, if you want, and I'll see what he says.
