Exclamation Custom Phrases...part 2

I say that Senior Members(such as myself) should be able to have custom text. Who agrees? Vote on the poll.

I think they should be edit-able by the user once he or she reaches 2240 posts.

Take care,
-Chris

Senior members should have some special features. Alot of you out there are always the first to help out and answer questions.

I'm working my way up. I don't know much so I mostly just voice opionions but I learn lots everyday. I also like to post funny and cool things I find.

I believe that it should be EARNED. Having only 500 posts is something that can be done in a fairly short amount of time. This all depends on how bad of a post ***** you are or not. Anyways, I think Dan set it to a number like 1,000 or 1,500 to make it harder to attain. Therefore the titles would be something to look forward to (as a rite).

I agree that with the title you should get something earned. However, Dan has given us all ways to express and customize our posts. If everybody had custom text we'll this place looking like an AOL teen chat room.

Just an opinion from the peanut gallary.

Senior member status is assigned at 500 posts. There is no status above that, maybe it should be 500 posts and 1 year, or 1500 posts before 1 year? Ah who knows. I do know it kinda stinks for Senior Members not to have that option, but it's also nice to know that option is reserved too. How about just make it 3,500 posts? That would pretty much eliminate the option, except for us "Ultra Senior Members"

Heheh.

Question does it really matter?

does this really matter to some of you? i mean i know i dont have alot of posts, but if you were to count the replies it would be pretty high. it makes no difference to me. whatever floats your boat!

I understand where the people are coming from who disagree. But on the flip side, there are members that have been here for over a year that still aren't senior members. I feel that the 500 post mark is more than enough to warrant the privilage of custom text. I don't want to result to post whoring to get what I want, but if I must........
