I just received this email and would like to help this poor soul out. It seems that he is going to be giving a speech.......

Quote:
I've spent the past 4 hours searching the internet for information pertaining to the 5.0l mustang's. What I want to know is exactly how many people were killed because of the 5.0l's small body and large amount of torque. Which causes the car to flip. please please please if u know anything email me back I need the info for a speech I making on monday. thankyou for your time.
I've never heard of this.

His speech will be titled:

"The Dangers of Torque"
An investigation of the safety value in yellow stickers and large exhaust tips.

Uh, can someone set this guy straight. I know the 302 can make some serious power, but enough to flip a car over due to the torque ?

Maybe subframe connectors cause this, making the car too rigid for its own good ?

Default So that's why.....

So that's why Mustangs need 35 spline Moser axles and wheelie bars..........now I understand, all that unsafe torque.

Just think of all the time I wasted teaching children the "D.A.R.E." program.

Maybe it should be T.A.R.E. program

Lightbulb I did it!, once.

I have herd this one before , It's one of those head game test!!!
The answer is I dont know or none because when the car flips / rolls due to it's own torque the airbag opens thus saving another life. most people only do it once and learn the mighty 5.0 lesson of the day. Therefor the answer is none or I don't know (due to the G-force on the skull at mid rotation)

But the REAL question is "If the car flips and no one is around to see it and the driver is dead, did the car really flip?"
