I'm goin Pro 5.0!!!!
Well after alot of thinking, I'm gonna race some Pro 5.0 races this year!! I think my car has got what it takes to run with Pro 5.0 boys. I've got pretty much the same setup as Billy Glidden (he built the motor anyways) and after talking to him on the phone the other day, he feels like my car should run with them. I gotta get it a little bit lighter though, but my first race will be at Maple Grove. So if anyones near that track come on out and wish me luck!!!
Eric

Thanks Brad, yeah I'm gonna TRY to run with the big dogs. I think it will do ok though, I've got the hp that's for sure!! I had it dyno'd a while back...at the rear wheels on motor it's putting out 982hp...on both stages it's pushing 1784 hp!!! I got it on video, i'll post it soon!!! Crank the VOLUME UP. hehe

I can't fathom what a 400-500rwhp car would feel like to launch down the track, let alone something with more than 3 times that power!
good luck with it, and if you get scared and need a driver then shoot me an email - Drew

Wow! That's going to be a hoot and a half for ya!
Remember, it's not always the fastest car that wins, it's the most consistent. If you can go rounds without breaking, etc. then you actually stand a decent chance.

You can't make it to the race in Reynolds this weekend? Be awesome if you could. I'd like to see it. Congrats on everything!

I don't really keep up with Pro 5.0, always was interested in the guy-next-door type cars, but congrats!
Last time I even paid attention to that class, weren't they running basically tube chassis cars with lexan windows and fiberglass shells and stuff? You need to get you one of 'em and run against the pros with that! |

Christine, I'll take you for a ride down the road if we don't get caught!! hehe Thing gets kinda noisy, hope we don't atract too much attention.lol
