Default cold air intake

Does anyone in here run a cold air intake in the winter?

i was thinking of putting one on my daily driver mountaineer but im wondering if its bad to run one in the winter with the extra debris on the road (michigan loads salt on roads)

let me know what everyone thinks. is it ok to run one?

I run mine all year long, but due to the fact that I live in TEXAS... we don't have winters. I don't see why it would be a problem. That is what an air filter is for.

yeah we got a bit of snow this year, i have extra tubing ran out to my lower valance & k&n, no problem yet, but when it warm's up, i will give the filter a well deserved re- charge.
