Well I am new here. I drive a 1987 Mustang LX 5.0. I don't know whats still holding it together. Its got about 275,000 miles on the original motor and trans. I bought the car in July/August '06 and have been constantly trying to keep it running since. When I got it I was told that it only had 40K on a rebuilt motor, but i ran a carfax on it later and found out i was scammed. Ill post some pics of it later if people want to see it.

Welcome to MW. Sorry you got scammed but an '87 Mustang 5.0 is still a kewl ride. You should know that parts for your car are relatively cheap and fairly plentiful. Still, at 275,000 miles, it shows that quality really was 'Number 1' at Ford. Maybe it will be, again.
