Well my name has a short story to it.
Well I was out with my mom (I did not have my plastic then). And a purple mustang drove by (can't remember if it was a GT or v6, I think GT but there are so many fakers out here). The plate said '1 Pony' and I had to think about it for a sec. OH!! #1 Pony. So when I signed up here they asked for a name and I really liked '1 Pony' and that's how I got it. Ok.. some would call that stealing! Ha ha ha ha ha... I still love the name. I'm going to change it when I get my 1st Mustang.

I'm pretty sure my name doesn't need any explanation. Not much thought went into it but it saved future questions.
Some interesting names on the board though and cool stories behind them.

My name is Shelby and since I was in high school, my nick name has been GT350. That is usually taken and was so I put Mustang in front of it. Besides a Lime Green 1967 GT350 is the coolest car in the whole world!!

Well...when I first actually joined MustangWorks (had been lurking for a while), I was looking seriously into buying a silver 91 GT. Alas, my well made plans were laid to waste on my birthday when I went to purchase the car. It had been sold the day before.
Thus comes "silver." "pilate" actually pays small tribute to a little known Pearl Jam song and the story I was told behind it. Pilate, of course, refers to Pontius Pilate. Eddie's song says, "like Pilate, I have a dog." This is an obscure reference to lore that after Pilate witnissed the crucifiction of Jesus Christ and the accompanying events of that day, he took his dog out with him to a hill overlooking the city and sat contemplating on what he had done. As it is, we all face such situations of reflection, and thus, if you use your imagination like Mr. Vedder, like Pilate, we have a dog. Thus comes "pilate." Plus it's a cooler way of spelling Pilot. --nathan

Polara is my baby. I have a 67 Dodge Polara 500 that was my grandfathers before he passed away. He left it to me. I met him once when I was about one, he passed away shortly after that. My grandmother drove it for a little while. I had been sitting there for a few years before my dad and mom went down to AZ to help my grandmother move and it was finally going home to me. They changed the oil, plugs, points and battery and it fired right up. Then drove all the way to MS. The only thing that went wrong on the trip back is the tires went flat. I finally had my baby at 16. Got my first ticket a couple days later. The car is also special ordered. My granddad worked at a dodge dealership when he bought it. It has the fender lights (a 68 option) and the 383 HP motor. The HP motor didn't come out officially till 68 either. So that's the story behind the Polara part.
7777= the sevens heh well just after i got the car my dad wanted to set-up an aol acount for me. Polara was taken so was everything else so he just went with one they gave which was polara7777. Now I use it for everything just cuase my memory really blows. That's the history behind my name.
