Default Stewart hits another reporter today!!

I just read on nascar.com that Tony Stewart shoved another reporter.
Is this really the guy we want as Nascar champion??
They should take points away from drivers for misconduct
A good punishment right now for Stewart would be to give Martin his points backand dock Tony the 35 points.

I thought he was on a zero tolerance probation for the rest of the season. Hmmmmm. I need to do some investigating!

Take care,

That's what happens when you have the fastest growing fanbase of any sport in the world.

The "incident" was a misunderstanding, and Stewart has been cleared of any wrong doing. So, we just have to hope he sucks a valve early in the race.

Take care,
~Chris

****** i was hoping to hear he got kicked out of the race for that. I really think it is bad for nascars imagie to have a guy like him as the champion. But then again now that i think about it he is excatly what american society thinks is cool these days a a real true jerk.... sad very sad. oh well i will be cheering for mark that is for sure.

THIS IS NOT A FLAME BUT MY OWN OPINION.

I like azz kicking image, always did. I think NASCAR is to main stream now. Alot has been lost in the media circus. Give me a local dirt track anytime.

I do not promote pushing around anybody for no reason, but , if two people wish to square off, so be it.

I can't believe you guys didn't hear about the NASCAR/WWF merger. Vince McMahan is going to put cameras on the drivers helmets AFTER the races and the pit crews will all have Gatorade honeys dressed in. . .well, you'll have to use your imagination, they's kids watchin this.
Seriously, I wish that just once, someone Mr. Stewart hits or shoves would take a baseball bat to his butt and maybe he'd grow up a little after he woke up. I figure if a guy takes a swing at you for asking a question, he ought to be fair game.
THere's an old saying around these parts about arguing. . . ."now that we've cleared the air, let's clear the room, lock the door and fight till one of us dies!"

Well I just got back from the Ford 400 and I have to say the Homestead races get more and more uneventful every year. Do any of you guys know why that is, there is less side by side racing, hardly any cautions(except for debris), and you can tell after 10 laps who is gonna win. Its like a follow the leader game. Anyway, I was pissed when Junior's car got out crappy, does anyone know what happened? I thought he might have dropped a cylinder at first, but he wasnt off the pace that much. Despite Mark's efforts towards the end, Stewart still wrapped up the championship. Did anyone else attend the race?

I'm glad tony done it. he deserved it. I think Jr's car had a bad miss to it. At least that's what the announcer's said. I was rooting for Jr. but he didn't win. That sucks.

Jr had a valve spring go bad, and the track sucked because of the rain. Washed all the accumulated rubber off. That's why there wasn't more side by side racing. It was more like ice racing.

Take care,
~Chris

Yeah the action at Homestaed is quite uneventful, the turns have only 6 degrees of banking. Before they "improved" the corners, they were like right angles, the track resembled a rectangle from above. The first few races there had lots of cautions. Before Winston Cup came in, the truck series race was in march, and it was one of the bigger events at the track. The first one had so many cautions I began to wonder if the race would end. That race was the one John Nemechek died in. Shortly after that they widened the turns.
