Default They ruined a good mustang!!

Did anyone watch MONSTER GARAGE Monday night? They turned a perfectly good '87GT vert into an overgrown lawn mower!!
Now why couldn't they have found a rice mobile or old an Camaro
for that crap?
For those of you who didn't see it, they mounted a large deck mower where the gas tank used to be(relocated to back seat area) and two push mower blades to the inside of each door.
I wish the only problem I had to worry about was how to turn a car into a lawn mower!
Some people have waaaaaaaay too much time on their hands.

I think it would be fun to mow my lawn on a fox body

I missed that episode, but I heard all about it. I don't think it's a waste of a Mustang though. If I had alot of money I'd probably do the same thing. It's be pretty cool mowing the grass in a 'stang. I know I'd get the job done alot quicker. hehehe

I was watching it yesterday and then turned a '87 Porsche 944 (I believe) into a Golf Ball Retriever, it was pretty cool looking. I can't remember there budget but it wasn't that much, and the car came out pretty nice.

if memory serves me correctly they did some mowing at like 70 mph.
I'd be done my lawn in a fraction of a second if that was the case.

Thats right. I forgot to watch that episode yet another time. I'm going to catch it one of these days.

I think it is pretty cool from what I have seen. Its not like you can't find beat up vert foxes anymore if you wanted one for yourself.

Yeah I saw that episode. Its pretty cool actually, they really put a nice paintjob on it, a little ghetto though, even more with the gold hundered-spokes. Ive seen some pretty wild stuff on that show, like a school bus turned into a pontoon boat! That Jesse James does build some sweet bikes, I saw one where he molded 2 nitrous bottles onto the outside of the gas tank, sounded sweet when he juiced it!

i dunno, yes it was a relatively clean 90 fox, but it was an auto too, so.. not to sacreligious to create somthin kooler. theres not much you can do aside from puttin in a 5-spd or beefing up the auto... plus who knows how many miles were on the car before they got a hold of it. the green pearl paint job fit the motif nicely i thought, (green turf). an the hundred spokes "bling bling" wheels were a little tacky, but i thought it wasn't too bad, he could have put a fugly body kit on it, or (eeech.. silver wheel well lip moldings for that oh so chic "getto fabuluos effect" so the gold kinda fit the scheme;the car bein strictly for jaw dropping "wow" effect an primarily eye candy already.. plus they were free..free always beats anything especially the headaches of replacin 3 starters, an tracking down the combine inshipping. $600- the budget for ponys or cobra R's + the 800 for tires.. i beleive they did it with like 5.95 left in the budget.. so i think they did a pretty bitchin job.

i've got an idea for theire next project..
turn a camaro into a paperweight

or a Honda into a challenge..
