Default thanks!

I love being a dad. My son will be 2 yrs old in Sept. He is the reason every day ends on a good note for me, no matter how bad work is for me or my wife. It's scary, but I see alot of my dad in me & him when we're playing around the house. It's the best feeling in the world being his dad & I wish it upon every guy in here wanting to have a family some day.
Have a GREAT ONE dad's!!!!!!
Later!

Sean

I second the opinion of mine being a jerk aswell. He could be good at times but generally he pisses me off. The older he gets, the more he gets on my nerves. But I bought him this nice Corvette Jacket. I'll take a picture of it later, I'm probably going back to get a Mustang one next week.

Smile Aw shucks Dad

As one of the handful of dad's around here I gratefully accept the good wishes for Father's day on behalf of all of the MW fathers.

Some advice for the folks with dad's that were/are less than wonderful:

When you become a dad, vow to do a better job than your dad did with you. I did.

Thanks everyone and happy fathers day to all the other dads out there. My son is already starting out right, he wants to help me work on my mustang all the time or when ever I work on it. It is a good feeling when they want to be like there dad.

Thumbs up

We had a cookout for my dad today.. totally cool! Ribs on the grill, crab legs in a pot and budweiser in the frig. It was a good time

Something got to me earlier in the day though... My ex-girls oldest daughter took me to lunch. She gave me a card that started with "With Love from your Daughter"... guys the card just gets worst... I'm her first hero and had a big influence on the woman she is today(from the card)... I had to put my sunglasses back on and choke back a tear or two. I'm not her dad but I guess I was more of one than her real dad.. I looked down at the beautiful 20 year old and realized, though I will never have anything else to do with her mom.. the past 8 years weren't a waist...

Rick-
That's so f**king cool! i completely believe it, too. You're a top notch guy!

My ex has twin daughters, and they gave me a fathers day card a couple years ago, but their mother doesn't like them seeing me any more. Still, it felt pretty damn good.

Anyway, you deserved it, I'm sure!!

Take care,
-Chris

Appreciate it man, really.

The diapers and baby formula are really cutting into my supercharger fund, but its worth it.

No man, you just save all the Father's Day's until she's old enough and then tell her she has to make up for all of them with one really cool gift. lol

Anyways, I know this reply is kinda late, but I just wanted to say thanks (Dad of 4) and Happy Father's Day to all Father's on MW.

I also wanted to say that if you didn't get a chance to talk to your Dad, or don't know if you should call him, just do it anyways. If you lose a Father that you had the chance to know, but didn't try, then you may regret it later.
