I'd like to know what miracle bolt ons can compete with the DOHC 4.6L. While not nearly as popular due to the 4.6L responding like a crazy machine to boost, there are N/A bolt on mods for the Cobra, which has significantly superior head design from the factory.

Basically stated, the DOHC is a kitten in stock form.

If you based your opinion of a vehicles worth on whether or not it's scoops were real, then you can forget all of the Super Sport Chevelles, Camaros and Novas (except for those with a cowl induction, or the new SS Camaro), most of the Mustangs, the Chargers and Challengers, the Trans Ams, etc. C'mon, man, give me a break.

Take care,

I agree 100%. Dont forget the Buick Regal T-type and the Grand National

Take care,

I still want to know what bolt ons will put an LS1 in the low 12s-high 11s... Hell, if its that easy then I'll go out and buy one..

I've said it before and I'll say it again.. Yeah the LS1 is bad but it is almost pushed to the limit in stock form... You can add heads and intake and still not be in the low 12s... You have to add a cam and some exhaust and some and some and ... don't kid yourself.. when you get that far along, you can do that to any car

not to mention the LS1's are a complete nightmare to work on.

Was the hole in the hood of the SVO Mustang 4-banger Turbo functional?

I don't know about 11s, but a gear change and some exhaust would put one in the 12s...... then again, you could do the same to a new GT and crack the 12s also.

I've seen new GTs run 13.8s and LS1s run 13.5s. Pretty close.
