Is there life after ricers
I dont know about anyone else but, but I have about had it with them. Ihave had A couple close ones but the majority of the imports are a waste of time. Just because they have an expensive paint job, a spoiler four feet tall and a coffee can for an exhaust tip they think they are fast. I am sick of these cars. No offense to you gouys who build them right, it's just you are so outnumbered by morons who think a few cheap mods make them fast.

I can agree with you there shawn, i've had several run-ins as well. And I can say that even though my mustang is bone-stock, most of them can't compete and they know it. They'll just pull up rev the engine and when the light turns, they see first and second gear then just give up to save face.

I'm with ya there man. Right now my car is running pig rich (thanks to a carb problem) and it's killing my power BUT even with the power loss and me running with a fouled plug I can still ring these little queers out to dry. I'll respect anyone who can make a car go fast, but these guys just care about big *** wings, crappy wheels, and cars that sound like Briggs & Straton lawn mowers (probably with less power, too). I saw in last months Hot Rod magazine there was a guy with a Civic that had a 90ci engine and a turbo running damn near 500hp! Now I'll give that guy props any day. It ran 11s and got 23mpg. But these guys in little Eclipses and Acuras don't have a chance in hell of hanging with a V8 without some SERIOUS work. Why can't they realize that? And ricers are on the rise here too. Used to be I'd see one a week or so. Now it's damn near daily and I've had it. Anybody seen my gun?

The funniest part is when they say "there is a Honda in sport compact magazine that runs 11's", they will bench race anything they see in a magizine as if it was their own car. I always say "why don't we race what we have because I can't count the stangs that run 9,10,11's in magazines because they are so common".
