Need some advice.
Ok, a little while back I saw a 87-93 5.0 lx for sale. Asking price was around $2200-$2500. I've been after car like that forever. However, there is a problem. I'm gonna be getting my white 1985 Toyota pickup (yes, Toyota pickup) back on the road again after a 2 year hiatus. This will be my main mode of transportation.
I would realy like to get a 5.0, but with the pickup back, my parents wouldn't allow me to have two vehicles. If I was to get a Mustang, they would want to sell the pickup. I don't want that to happen. The truck was my very first vehicle I ever had and I don't want to get rid of it. It has sentimental value to me. Any suggestions? This is driving me nuts. I don't know what to do. |

Up where I live I need a pick-up (4x4) to get around in the winter. If I lived down there it would be a no brainer. Bye-bye pick-up, hello Mustang with new memories to be had.
Just my worthless opinion .

Making choices
You don't have many options here.
You clearly stated that you do not want to sell the pickup and your parents won't let you keep two vehicles so that pretty much ends it right there. It's a fact of life that we can't always have everything we want, when and how we want it. In your case, the Mustang will have to wait as you've already chosen the Toyota pickup as your main vehicle and are attached to it. You want a Mustang but you don't have a Mustang so you haven't lost anything here. In a few years you'll be old enough to own as many vehicles as you want and can afford. Until then, enjoy your pickup. |

Maybe you guys are right. Sometimes I get so ahead of myself. I've got the truck. That should be more than enough. I'm young. I've got time to wait a little longer. Maybe once I get out of college and get some money coming in, then it can happen. These cars will always be here for me.
Thank you for the advice. (On a side note, I've always wanted to build a 1981 Ford Fairmont 2 door sedan. Heh, heh.) |

Hey right now I have three cars and a bike, all by myslef. Now there are only two that I am actually keeping, but that's not what you asked.
There will be other 5.0 lx's, but you will only ever have one first car. If that's the decision, wait on the mustang.

Looking at your sig, it seems youve had a Mustang and the truck at one time correct... If so same situation, go get it and keep the truck.
