Post Ordered a New Stang!!!!!

Well, after selling the 91 a few weeks ago, I finally had enough time to go down to the dealership and order a new 2001 GT. I ordered a Black 5-speed with the deluxe package and added dark charcoal leather and mach 460. So, I guess I'll be giving updates from now until I get the call that the car is in. God, I can't wait...This kinda feels like the night before christmas...waiting...waiting...

I'll keep everyone updated because I'm so excited I just have to tell someone!

I am starting to pile together a bunch of mods that I would like to buy before the car even arrives. So far, I have Steeda Pulleys, timing adjuster, and tri-ax shifter. I am also going to get 4.30 gears. Can anyone think of anything else that I can do for cheap??? I would do exhaust too but I'm going to get a Borla cat-back and a Bassani x-pipe w/cats so I can't really afford it right now. Besides...I'd rather go fast than sound good!!!

Cool, man, sounds cool! I wish I could get a brand new Mustang too! I think I'd keep mine though and have both!

That's what I'm doing in 04.

Getting a new one and keep my current mustang.

Stang Crazy congrats on the purchase.
Good list of mods. 4.3s??? Kinda steep. Racing duty?

Yea, I decided to go with the 4.30's because the car won't see that much driving. I work 10-12 hrs a day and don't have time to drive it everyday. I don't have to drive to work because my boss lives down the street so all I have to do is walk down in the morning. I only put about 30 miles a week on the old stang and I can't see why the new one would be any different.

JL1314, I wish I could have kept the 91 also but there was no way that I could afford both. Plus, at 20 years old, I don't think having two stangs is necessary.

well dangit, i'm 21 and have to settle for a 6 year old gt. even though it's *still* in awsome shape; oooo *shudder*, what i wouldn't do to have enough $$$ to order a new stang. hoping to be able to buy a brand new Cobra by the time i'm 25.

Stang_Crazy, enjoy and congrats!!!
