Post new guy here!

Hello all!! i just got my 99gt 2days ago and am extremely pleased with it. i use to own a modded low 13sec talon tsi but i got bored with it and wanted something with a bit more torque.. and boy did i find it.. i didnt realize how much i missed rwd and spinning tires untill i got the stang. only thing that bugs me is it a auto. how much slower are the autos then the 5spds?
anyhoo just wanted to post and say hi

welcome to the board , i have a 00gt it's an auto too , but had to get one so the wife could drive it too, oh well , i still like but anyway , welcome you will love your stang the longer you own it ,later

Around 14.8-15+ for a stock auto. maybe a lil faster.

Cab-383(500+hp on motor), tubbed, trick flow heads, trick flow pistons, etc... autometer phantom gauges, "built" 700R4, roll cage, lexan back window, corbeau seats, R.H.S. 5 harnesses, Fuel cell, convo pro wheels, 15x14's with 29x18.5 M/T'S on back, 15x4's on front, nitrous, and so much more!

Just give it some time, and practice, your 1/4 time will get lower, and lower. =)

R/T 1.32? with some practice you could get it down to .2's consistently, if you got really good maybe some .0**'s. And your 2.3 60' is hurtin you. Probally get that down to a 2.00? Sounds like your car has some real potential, and you've started off with the all the right mod's too. And if you really wanted to knock some time off that 1/4 you should get a higher stall.

Yeah, the car really doesn't feel that slow. I only ran it once, and it was my first time ever at the track. I know I can pull a low 14 if I go again. Given that I've beaten lt1 Z28s consistently on the street, I know the car is faster than that 14.5.
