Boy, Vortech's sure do leave a bad taste in your mouth when you eat them!!
This wasn't even a fun kill for me. Guy shows up...we put our money up..my best friend Greg holds it for us. We line up in the staging lanes..he does his burnout i do mine. I stage first, then him, light goes down, bam, my car launches like a fat cop going for a donut sale. End result?? My 5.15 148 mph to his 7.89 94 mph. He didn't have much to say afterwards. I ended up after the race putting my bottles back in and making some test runs. I ran a new best of 4.57 168mph, on both stages. Have one plug fouled though, so it may have went quicker. But the weather was kind of cool, so I think that's why it was hooking so well.

Nobody's getting the vortech expect me. I need it worser than you all. My lawn mower only has 12hp!! I figure with the vortech, intercooler, 2 lb injectors, a 75shot, big fuel system, 4.10 gears i can mow my yard in about 30 minutes instead of an 1 hour and 32 minutes. hehe

Sooooo, it's safe to assume you people don't like guys with Vortech huh? Oh well, to each his/her own I guess. But can you tell me that a Vortech supercharged 99 Cobra is slow? I mean come on! I don't drag, and maybe that's what you guys do, but don't knock Vortech so much. It works fine. You sure know how to make some one feel bad about his investment.

Oh no, dont get use wrong, we have nothing against a Vortech or especailly a Vorteched Cobra but......... It really would be no match for a Rad's car. It's pretty freakin fast. I mean 4.7?'s in the 1/8th. Thats movin, But a vortech Cobra would be nice to have to.
