All time Favorite song?
No matter who the artist, what type of music, or anything. What's your ONE and only most favorite song. The one you crank up in the car no matter what. Mine is a reletivly new song. "i'm moving On" by Rascal Flatts. It was "Dust in the wind" but not anymore. I think they both reflect alot about who I am. You all know there is one song out there that fits you to a tee. What is it?
Brad

Wild West Hero, Electric Light Orchestra.
They never play it, though. One, Metallica. Take care, -Chris

Well, I used to be much more into classic rock than I am now, and I always swore that NO new music could possibly touch me as much as the "eternal hits", but Incubus' "Pardon Me" for some reason really gets to me, and thanks to 2 of my fellow MWers I've really gotten attached to the group Glassjaw. I also like Rammstein, Machinehead, and Eastcide.

Lowdown by Boz Scaggs used to describe me, in a way, and I still love that song.
Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin. Played to death on the radio but still a great song that I always crank up when it comes on. She's Leaving Home by the Beatles is one of my Beatle favorites (from the Sgt. Pepper album). A later favorite is Walkin' in Memphis by Marc Cohn. Just a great combination of country and blues. I never hear it enough. |

That's impossable for me. How bout I list my 100 favorite songs. I love a lot of stuff from Metalica, AC/DC, 80's metal, 70's, 60's, and the list goes on and on. I guess I'm weird in that I listen to almost everything, rock, metal, country, rap, jazz(I know some stuff from the 30's/40's you guys have never even hear of). About the only thing I don't listen to is R&B, Mowtown, and reggia.
But if I was in a pinch, Paridise City, by Guns n' Roses.

You will probably think I am wierd but my all time favorite song is Ritual Fire Dance by Mana deFalla. Its a spainish classical piece and its relaxing. I prefer ambient trance type music when I am driving or reading and doing work.

I dont have a All Time Favorite song, but I do have Favorite songs to fit my moods.
My favorite song to listen to while I'm drawing or painting is Danse Macabre (Dance of Death) composed by Saint Saens. Its classical. Dont laugh at this one, but on race nights, I listen to "Jump" from House of Pain. Favorite Love song is What becomes of the Broken Hearted. An oldie song. And for the basic any mood thing, its gotta be House of the Rising Sun. The animals version. I also Love to listenTacotta and Fugue in D minor...composed by Bach. when drawing or writting. |

I'm not really a Rock kinda guy. I'm only 17 so I'm more into hip-hop and dance. I like alot of Jay-Z (You Don't Know & Hola Hovito). But I love Mr. Oizo - Flat Beat and Sick Dog Trying to Speak. I doubt anyone has heard of Oizo but if ya've seen the video is amazing. lol
I like music with bass, but I also enjoy music that makes you think of life.

Nice Avatar. Classical is cool. i really enjoy Baroque style classical. I can listen to Vivaldi and Mozart all day. As far as Hip Hop, Rap and Country, my brain is incapable of recognizing any of them as "music". My loss, I guess. Take care, -Chris

I posted this and got to thinking after I seen everyones replies. There no way I can pick just one song. I have over 500 songs on my computer for a reason. Everything from classical to gangsta rap. I am like the al knowing in the music scene among all my friends. Always up on the new stuff, most of it anyway.
I like, Metallica, Stained, LImp, Dmx, Rage, Garth Brooks, Shakira(cause she is HOTT hot),Naturally Britney and Christina but did you guys know they sing, P.O.D., Lonestar, Buckcherry, Extreme (thanks to PKURWUD), and pretty well everything else in between.
