Rob!!! Good to see you back on the boards, man! Where have you been? You've been missed.

Anywho, nice job on the dyno. Must be nice to have two Mustangs to have fun with!

Take it easy,
E

Talking Hey guys!

i've been off the boards for awhile, true enough!
i was hangin' at another site for awhile while waiting to get the cobra in shape. Now she's tuned and ready to ROCK!

I do feel a big difference!

I can run 91 octane without detonation!
i lost some torque down low with the (550+HP) accufab t/b so i'll be needing to up the boost or add some N2O to compensate
the idle is (almost) perfect!

My wife put in some 118 octane and most likely killed the O2 sensors, so when i put in the new ones, it should be perfect. it dies sometimes now.

I will be taking her to the track on Saturday, so my numbers should change slightly if i can get her to hook!

The SHM 575 bottoom end spins to 7500 rpm, whether it is worth it to wind it up that far remains to be seen, it looks like the torque falls off too much before then...

some minor intake mods (short-runner intake/intercooler/power pipe should get me to the power level i'd like...

I really think a 150 shot of nitrous might actually be the best way to build the torque curve up a bit

Default i gotta say this...

my wife rolled her truck the other day and still doesn't have a vehicle. she's been driving the cobra

when she starts it, the whole house vibrates with that sweet hum!
I still can't believe that's MY car making that sound...
as stimpy would say "SQUIRT!!!"

when it goes up the road thru 1st gear it sounds sweeeeeet!
(short road)

it's so different to hear it from the outside!

i gotta find the drag coefficient and front sectional area for my car so i can calculate theoretical top speed...I want to eventually have her capable of 200 mph...

o yeah!

Very nice numbers, that's pretty sweet.
I bet your wife rolled the truck on purpose just to drive the Cobra. lol I know I would... lol But she sounds to be okay, so that's a good thing to hear.

Nice to have you back on the board aswell.
