Hmmm, yes, but the proportions are way different. Your car consumes waaaay more gasoline than you do drinks (non-alcoholic, okay ).

If you add up how much, say, Iced Tea you drink per week at $9.52/gal and drink a gallon per week, that's only $9.52/week.

But, if you buy gasoline that costs $1.40/gallon, have a car that gets about 25 miles/gal, and drive about 400 miles/week, that'd come to about $34/week. And this isn't even adding in that you'll get less miles/gallon in the city compared to hwy....

Now ain't I just the smarty pants....

Anyone been to Europe? Gas is about $2.30/liter.

One Euro is around equal to one dollar, so you will pay over $2.00 for one liter. so one gallon is around $8.00.

Now you know why VWs get great fuel mileage...

You think two bucks is bad Australia is $4.00 dollars a gallon. That's why they only have four and six cylinders over there. You couldn't afford to put gas in a v-8.

Daniel.

that was over $2.00 for one LITER, not gallon.

Austrailia happens to make a lot of powerful v8 cars, so Im not sure where your getting your information. Ford of Austrailia makes a stroker windsor available from the factory, and GM of austrailia is selling some car with 350 HP that GM is going to market in the states as the new "GTO" coming up in a year or so.

Yes Australia has alot of V8 powered cars from GM and Ford. Not to mention the Skylines, Silvias and other cars they get too. Australia gets all the cool cars
