I think it's clear to all that Mustang Works Online certainly welcomes posts from members on all the forums, it's the pointless posts that have no relation to anything or no real point to them that irritates some members.

The general fascination with the post count has always escaped me but the fact that it seemed to motivate a few folks to post mostly pointless messages that clutter up otherwise good threads was frustrating to myself and some others who took the time to tell me and others about their feelings on the subject. That's why I suggested to Dan that the post count be eliminated, which probably won't happen (breathe easy, Chris).

It's not a big deal and there is no need to make it one so please don't take a simple request for putting a moment of thought into your next post as a personal affront to your integrity. It's just a suggestion. Relax.

One thing I never got was when ppl put nothing in there posts like above. At least mine said something.
