Unhappy Please keep me in your prayers

I had a very rough 2002 with losing my father, and 2003 is not starting off so great either. I got a call from my mom about an hour ago that my grandma just passed away. She had been battling with alzheimer's for the past year, and it finally took her from us. This has definitely not been my week. Please keep me and my family in your prayers.

Jill

Very sorry to hear about your grandma especially in light of the car accident you posted this week.

I lost my grandma to Alzheimers in July 2001. It wasn't easy...but it was also very painful to watch someone I loved so much (a lively, strong, and good-hearted woman) struggle with day-to-day tasks and not be able to recognize people important to her or remember anything about her life.

I pulled through by leaning on my family and my girlfriend, and I know you will too...hang in there.

I am very sorry to hear about your losses . Hopefully you gandmother passed painlessly.

I lost my grandmother a few years ago. After she was done volunteering at a hospital, she got into her car, and a man came up with a shot gun and shot her in the face. It was quite possibly the worst thing I had to ever deal with.

Things will get better.. cheer up

I'm sorry about your father, and grandma. I have lost many close family members including my father and I know how much it sucks. As you know things will get better and just remember the good times you had with them.

Hopefully everything will turn around. It's horrible to lose someone close to you, especially two so close together. Just keep them in your memories, life with brighten up for you.

I'm sooo sorry to hear about your loss Blondie. I lost my grandma a few years ago and I always remembered a saying she said. She said behind every dark cloud there's a silver lining. I always think of that when things aren't going so bad.

You're in my prayers,
David

RiceHunter,

Wow! so sorry about that too.. I can't believe people can be so cruel..

My prayers are with you.... I had a similar experience in 2001 when my dad passed away, my grandmother went one week later and my uncle went a month after that. I would like to erase 2001.
My thoughts are with you, I know it's hard.

Jill,

I am truly sorry to hear about your losses and the other not-so-good stuff that has been happening to you lately. You are definitely in my prayers. Please try to be strong. Don't let the the bad things make you lose focus and break you. Please, also seek God for your comfort. You will find it in Him if you put your trust in Him. I cannot say that I know how you feel b/c I have not YET lost anyone really close to me (and I'd hate to imagine so) but I've been through some tuff crap b4 in my life (we all go through our own trials) and one thing I can attest to is the ultimate peace that God gives me. I'm not some religious fanatic trying to preach to you, just a friend trying to offer support and solace.

Take it easy.

I'm sorry to hear that That vile disease took my mom from me about 6 years ago ! We're gonna beat it soon i can feel it !
Just know that at least there is no pain associated with Alzheimers, your grandma was, i'm sure, at peace in her world, and is even more at peace where she resides now
Hang in there Jill, it will turn around, it always does

Thank you all so much for your kind words and your prayers. It means more than you know to me. I'm having a really tough time with this. The visitation is Friday evening and the funeral is Saturday afternoon. I have a lot of family out of state, and we're trying to get them all in right now. Thankfully, all but one is making it in. So I'm waiting for my aunt and cousin and her lil one to come in from Florida tomorrow and then I'm taking off for my mom's. (That's about 2 1/2 hours from me). So I'll be gone for a few days. (I'm sure ya'll will miss me a lot... heehee) I'm tryin to smile here. And of course now they're supposed to get snow where I'm goin tomorrow as well. Alright I'm headed to bed, I need sleep.

Jill
