Still depends on the color, how many coats, clearcoat or no, etc.

A real good spray job will set you back a few hundo.

MAACO could probably do it for like $300 and get you decent.

It all depends, try and get buddies with someone that paints, it doesn't take much time to just spray a prepped car.

well I just paid almost $2k for body work, then about $400 for the stupid paint. But my car needed a hearty amount of body work, so...

I got three quotes to paint the LX and fix door dings, etc. They were all about $2,000. Of course, I didn't take it to Earl Schieb or Maaco...

I am having my car painted right now. I bought a new front bumper, rear bumper, hood, spoiler. They are repainting the entire thing two tones (dark green on top and silver below the trim). I had very little body damage (a few dints and dings) and it is costing me $2800. So far, a I am pleased with the work. They are supose to paint it today so I should get it back buy this weekend. Just keep in mind... you get what you pay for. (DON'T GET MAACO!!!!!!)

I painted this car myself:

If you do all the prep work (BIG labor cost), that will save you a lot of money. Find someone that will just squirt it for ya.

Otherwise, for a cheap paintjob. In Detroit during February (winter slow time), MAACO has a special going. THey give a $400 paint job for $200. I had a VW-GTI painted that way. Sure it had a cheapie paintjob, but looked good from 15 feet away. Get close and you can see the orange peel... But heck, for $200, it was a steal!
