Default eleanor

Did anyone else see the special about the company that has been making replicas of eleanor from Gone in 60 seconds. They have a cobra and a super cobra that put out over 700 Hp that Jason Giambi ordered.

You thinking of the "new" Shelby GT500E? I'd take one, or two...or three

Cool Re: eleanor

Yeah, that was neat.

Unique Performance
Quote:
Unique Performance built the prototype Shelby “Eleanor” G.T.500E with the assistance of the company that supplied all of the cars for the hit movie “Gone in 60 Seconds.” Once the first G.T.500E was unveiled to the public, demand for additional cars was overwhelming. This led to the production of the G.T.500E and introduction of the Shelby G.T.350SR.
Lovely in red.

Carroll Shelby has approved and endorsed the GT500E and the GT350SR. That is why they are able to call them Shelbys.

They held a show at Unique Performance in Dallas 2 or 3 weeks ago, Carroll Shelby and Chip Foose were there. I was in Dallas but had to be at a "mandatory" staff meeting all day, so I didn't get to go. One of my co-workers who lives in Fort Worth got to stop by on his way to the meeting and got to meet Chip Foose!
