Welcome! Theres a few of us in your general area, I just moved up here to Pigeon Forge, not sure how far the tri-city area is though .
As far as clubs, the only one I know of off the top of the head would be the Tennessee Valley Mustang Club. They had a show right nest to my house this summer. Dont know much else about em, they dont seem to have a website. Then theres always the MCA. http://www.mustang.org/
They might have a line on a club in the area.

Banshee; The Tri Cities are Bristol, johnson and Kingsport Cities. A little more than a hour from us.

Tennessee Valley Mustang Club can kiss my big fat hairy a$$. I got kicked out of there last show in pigeon forge. This was a first for me, kinda rooled.

I think we need a gathering this summer somewhere in PF. Like I tried last summer.

MTN Laurel ; Welcome to the boards. Lets see some car pics.

Thanks J for the welcome. Your about an hour from me. I guess there just isn't a club in the area....maybe we need to start one? Sounds like there are a few people in the area. Cool.

Frank: Thats what happen when you moon the judges, j/k. Was that the show at the Country Inn a couple of months ago?

Yeah, a get together would be cool once it warms up. I might even be able to scare up a few more Mustang folks. Count me in.

Ruth: no prob,

Another possibility would be an outing to 411 raceway. My boss and I were talking about going up there and running sometime in the spring/summer (if he ever gets his 8.8 fixed.). Anyway, just let me know,

Jorge

It was the show at the country inn. I was there with two other Cobras. Some dipwad threw all three of us out. I think they lost members that day, atleast prospective ones. Several came up and apoligized for the actions of one member.

Thats sucks man, I stopped by there for like 30 mins on that Sun, The only cars that interested me were the red 66/7, the mystic, and a Cougar.

So what say you folks for the get together location? Sit down or car-hop/fast food? A&W (Still havent eaten there)? As good a place as any to scare the ricers*evil grin*.

What do you folks think about a day get-together, and maybe cruise up and check out the "Dragons Back/tail/whatever" off Wears Valley? (I have to make the day/ night distinction because to me night is "dafault"...Day=sleep, night=work, lol.)

Hi guys,,,Cheorkee Lake is a nice spot in Jefferson City or Greenbrier in Gatlinburg is a cool place. But I'm open for most areas around. Rod Run week in Pigeon Forge is coming up soon, right? Bristol Dragway has "Tuesday and Thursday night Street Fights" starting in March I believe. For $10 you can run as much as you want to. Thanks for the welcome, nice meeting y'all. Ruth
