Did anyone else watch 60 Minutes tonight?

They had the reaction from real Arab\Muslims from around the world...

They had this one guy from a show like "Crossfire" except it was in Cairo...
The topic of one show was if America "deserved" what it got... and the almost unanimous response... YES!
(I just about pulled out an M-16 and started looking for a ride to my nearest Navy recruiter...)
He was stating that about 80% of the call in audience felt that out of all their problems, Muslims felt that Americans weren't "an" enemy, but THE enemy....

Excuse me? Say that again? I've never even BEEN to the middle east, (other than that little a$$-whipping called desert storm), and now I, personally, am the enemy of the Muslim religion...
How much of my hard earned tax dollars go to humanitarian aid in the middle east? I'm sure its a hell of a lot.... and I'm the enemy...
How much tourism dollars does Egypt get from Americans?.... and we're the enemy....
Don't give me that crap about Jerusalem either... just looks like two spoiled brats who can't share to me. Israel flies Mirages as well as F-15s, so I'm SURE that the French are just behind the Americans as a Muslim enemy.... I'm sure that an AK-47 has killed a heck of a lot more middle-east muslims than an M-16.... and we're THE enemy...

Then this Palestinian lady said that it didn't bother her at all to see the WTC attack. No problem, just 6-8 thousand dead Americans, I'm sure cousin Muhammed will still make it through dental school in Pittsburgh...
She said now maybe we will know what its like to go through what they have....

kill 1 or 2 folks, maybe just injure 5 or 6.... WTC\Pentagon killed about 6-8 THOUSAND CIVILIANS!! Who weren't even doing stupid things like throwing rocks at highly trained, armed soldiers, but just trying to pay thier bills... OH YEA, I forgot, THEY were the enemy too...

I'm really glad someone told me I was a Muslim's enemy... I guess I need to tell a couple friends at work to F-off because they're Muslims.... can't be friends with the enemy you know. I guess I have to go back to work tommorrow and blow them away since I'm THE enemy....

The pure, unadulterated hate that spews out from the middle east is really hard to understand. Sometimes I think that maybe they have to blame "someone" because the world they live in is so screwed up, they see how great the US is and hate us for it. Maybe its because their leaders\clerics love to stay in power and don't want the population to focus on just how poor they are and how crappy their life is.... so they give the America is the problem speech. The Great Satan....

Fine, We'll take back all our money and support. Don't ever come to us with any monetary or military assistance. I don't care how many kids you idiots have that you can't support or feed. I don't care if ol' Saddam comes in and takes over the whole crappy region... We'll drill our own oil thank you... and if we need more, I'm sure Russia has plenty out there in that vast wilderness of theirs... I'm sure they'll welcome the jobs and cash...

I know that I can't blame all Muslims as a whole for these issues, just like I can't blame all Christians for the KKK.

But this stuff just drives me insane...

I totally agree!! I watched an undercover report tonight on CNN where a woman went undercover in Afganistan. The citizens there where repressed beyond believe, I don't think they see the US as the enemy. Its the terrorist, the taliban. Public executions, no medicines, murdering whole cities.. I'm sure Muhammed told the taliban to kill and skin innocent civilians.

I'm so sick of hearing about whats going to happen! I want to see it! I want the terrorist hunted down and exucuted, all of them!! Yes, Saddam! You too! I say, we should take care of the terrorist and forget the middle east(except Israel). Keep an eye on them so that they aren't a threat to us. Keep intelligence on them and that's it. Let them take care of themselves!
Don't let anyone else from the middle east in the country. Go get your education in Saudi!
As far as the guys sueing for being escorted off the planes, I'd think in light of the current circumstances, its not out of line. Many may think so but I don't. If they win any law suit then I think that would be an injustice. What about some of the families that lost loved ones in this horrible attack, some are wanting to sue the airlines! If you want to sue someone, sue the Taliban! I understand its a great horrible loss, it shouldn't have happened. It just sickens me to hear what some people want to do. Its an attack on our country for crying out loud!! GRRR!!!!!

All our diplomacy has left the world not respecting us. They just need a reminder of what us THE ENEMY is capible of. Its not that we cant fight each other, or put our women and children out on the streets to starve, or murder and skin people in the next town. Its because we're civilized and have moved out of the dark ages. Close the borders, ship out those with expired visas,so those of us with citizenship can work, and put the students(Berkly) who oppose our unity under one flag in a bus ship em to NY and let them pull the bodies out of the World Trade Center. Let them sift thru the wreckeage for body parts of inocent civilians. Most of these mid-eastern regimes are very oppressive and use the Islamic religion as a tool to keep the citizens in line. They use anti-American (anti-west, really) greivences to stir up folks and distract them from the misery of their own lives under these dictators and mullahs.

Remember, these countries do not have the freedoms we do, not even one-tenth. The government controls all media...you know only what the government wants you to hear, see, read. These 'Islamic' governments constantly stir up the people against the west and support the terrorists, which is why we're hated. Oh, our support of Israel is a factor, but these people would hate us even without our support of Israel.

Actually, many Arab people - when they migrate to the west - especially America - do well, prosper and often adapt to our lifestyles quite easily. This scares the Mullahs and the dictators in these countries, so they call us the Great Satan and other stupid names, but it's fear behind the shouting and fist-waving, trust me.

Things will change in the middle east. They have not only awakened a sleeping giant but they have unleashed a terrible sword and many of these 'leaders' will be gone in a few years.

It's not going to be pretty - in America or in the middle east, but it's time. Let's roll!

When the attack was over and his soldiers were elated with the "victory," the admiral was not. The ultimate objective had not been met.
