Red face one less ricer tonight;one mad bowtie boy

Haha, I just best laugh of the week! While helping a buddy clean out his garage, we hear the infamous whine of a pretend motor approaching our position. We went outside to see how many stickers and such it had on it so we could tell how fast it must be. We find it stopped at the intersection waiting to turn left. They saw our mustangs parked closeby as well as ourselves coming out to witness the soon to come showing of torque and superior driving ability. Aparanently to impress us, the driver did a neutral-drop and whipped onto the next street, lost control in the rain and was promptly smashed by a chevy 1500. The truck was pretty nice with Id guess a 3" sus. lift and a huge home made front bumper that said "try me." It sustained 500 worth of damage because the sidewall of the tire was ripped destroying the crx, which was more than totaled.
Luckily no injuries though.

Those things make enough torque to spin while its wet out? surprising

That is a pretty funny story, glad no one was hurt.

"Neutral drops" are dumb in any instance aren't they? I can't think of any legitimate reason to do it. Oh yeah, almost forgot, it's the only way some cars can chirp their tires. But even still, not in the rain.

That was real smart on the ricers part..Geez at least when I desided to play around in the rain I went in to wild water and wheels parking lot (big water park turist trap in myrtle beach), and started to turn around while I was in 1st. Smart me desided to punch it for a sec. next thing I knew I was spinning around like a top...It was kinda cool though atleast I didn't do it when anybody was around(the parking lot was empty).

Rev: yes they are but I did many in my 98 V6 when I first started driving, and although I learned realllll quick after I blew my AOD-E and 7.5 rear, I did not want to sound like a hypocrite.

Hey...I happen to like chrome hubcaps..especially over my Cobra Rs...
