SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL RACE TRACK!!!

I crew for Jim Porter Racing. We run a 700+ horsepower n/a 360 wingless Sprint car. You haven't lived until you been to a Sprint car race.

Find out where the closest circle track is to you, dirt is preferred, and go to the races. Race tracks across the country put on awesome shows every weekend, but they need fan support to continue. You won't find a better bargain!

Take care,
-Chris

Last Saturday me and a buddy went to a 1/8th mile track, as spectators. Funny how many people you know when you are into cars. Hopefully soon I can get mine on there and see what it'll do. The past 5-6 Friday nights me and a couple buddys have met down at the local Hooters after work. Last night one buddy had a date so me and the other went to another wing house and then to a bar.. hehehe... I spent the night catching the girl across the bar staring at me(LOL), I sent her a drink and she was nice. I went to talk with her and I don't know if she was shy or what, she smiled but kinda turned to talk with her friend and I didn't know what to think. Night clubs are fun, get a few drink in you and there is no telling what will happen... hehehe The saturday before that I think was the big fight night, a buddy got the fight and we all pitched in $5 to see it. We sat around and made bets and played pool and drank, I got to that party at 9 and left at 7am I couldn't believe it lasted that long, I think they were still partying after I left(I slept most of the next day)

Is there a House of Blues near you?? There is always a good time to be had at the House of Blues. Concerts!! Love concerts and live bands.. Good live bands really make the party, they gotta be good though. Its always good to see an older big band playing, one that you know all the songs too.. like .38 Special(seen them 3 times). Listen to the radio and see what is going on.

What is it you do every weekend that is boring now, I just realized that some of the stuff I mentioned may be what you are looking to get away from.

Two words:

Jigsaw Puzzles!

Hours of fun to be had, by yourself, or with a group!

Find a track, man. Trust me! House of Blues is cool, too. I've been to the one down in Hollywood a few times. Pretty cool.

Take care,
-Chris

What happen Chris? Ya're loosing your edge? I guess old age has struck! Your not as hip and cool as you used to be. lol I usually drive around with friends looking for places with cars to hand around or go out and shot acouple games of pool. Seeing I cannot go to a bar and legally drink. Although we sometimes go over a friends house and watch a hockey game and drink ourselves stupid but hockey is over. Sometimes I just sit out on a busy street and watch the cars go by with friends and just talk tell 1-2 in the morning. I hope to be going up to the race track to watch some stock car racing.

We used to go to some spots and hang out with the cars but all the big spots suck now if you get caught hanging out in groups the cops will but you in the little big house just for hanging out because last year some gangbangers took a shot a a cop and messed it up for all of us. now we spend all of our time looking for new spots when we find one the cops show up and start busting the people that did not get in there car fast enough and leave its getting to be where we cant hang out anywhere without the popos messing with use so where stuck doing things we do all winter cause we wait for spring, summer and fall to get the cars out and just go now we cant even do that around here.

Thumbs up Ahh the weekends..........

I usually try to stay out of trouble. Either hang at the track, a car show or surf/bodysurf depending on the swell. I highly recomend the last one, the scenery is great down here this time of the year.

Hey Mike-
Did you ever stop at Surfers Point in Ventura (by the Fairgrounds)? Pretty decent surf year round! I haven't been out in over a year, but I still have a board or two (need a new wetsuit, though!)!!

Now you have me thinking....

Take care,
-Chris

Chris,
The farthest south I went at school was to Rincon. I'm working on rehabing my shoulder from an old bike accident that kept me on land for a while. Was out yesterday though. The surf was small but the waters getting warm, down here at least.

I'm really wondering what took me so long to get back in the water. Looks like it will be small up there all week, good time to get back out there.

Take it easy,
Mike

One of my many hobbies is...

I go metal detecting. Im mainly into relic hunting, as in Civil War relics. Got some pretty cool stuff. The beaches yeild some cool stuff too.

I once found a tooth at a murder site. O-yeah, I use my detector for crime scenes also.

Well around here me and a bunch of friends might go to a club called the Oz. Cool club. You dont have to dress like a **** to get in! Anyway after that there is a street called Lindbergh. Everyone with nice cars cruises down there. Well we'll go and show off our rides and hang out.

I am also a member of a St.Louis based mustang club and we have meets every other weekend which is pretty cool.

I may also go boating or camping with my family. Love my family!!!

Sometimes I'll go with my BF and his buddy to Gateway (a track in St.Louis) and race his buddys SS Chevelle 454. Its nice... runs at least 12 seconds! Well I dont race it my BF's buddy does LOL

Thats just a few things that I do on the weekends!
