Exclamation Jaw dropping footage of Grebeck crash

The Mustang Works has received a video with footage shot track side, right at the point where Steve Grebeck's Pro 5.0 car collides with Bill Rimmer's Pro 5.0 car during the Spring Break Shootout from one of the spectators. The footage is absolutely jaw dropping.

Quote:
Note: Although we realize that this footage may be of a sensitive nature to those directly effected by this tragedy and we are sensitive to the family of Steve Grebeck, we have decided to post it in a factual and tasteful manner. This is because it is part of the news of what happened and we know that the bulk of our readership will want to see what happened visually. Viewing this is at your own choice.
You can view the footage in the following formats, encoded in high quality (they are also available in the Media Center in the "Movies : Drag Racing" category):

3.3 MB Real Video Clip (HQ)
10.3 MB MPEG Clip (HQ)

Unhappy

I went to the funeral home last night. It tore at my heart for anyone losing a family member. Especially when someone so young that went to highschool with my wife...

On the brighter side, there were TONS of people ther showing their respects, and put a smile on my face to see so many racing jerseys (not black suits) That, and the walls were filled with posterboards of photos of all the cars and events and friends that everyone will miss.

Condolences to the family.

It's scary to think how quickly someone's life can end like that. My condolances go out to his family.

I hate to see this happening folks,we've now lost 2 greats in this great hobby of mustang drag racing...

Jason B. and now Steve Greback

Bad thing is,I can see more of this happening with the competiton getting tougher every year in these classes.
