Is't the eclipse body style based off the Toyota Celica with was based off of the Ford Mustang Fastback? Maybe it isn't as bad as you think, she will come around!! Hopefully....

MustangGT350 yes it is possible that she may come around. Her fascination with the Eclipse's is that she thinks they're cute. Her mother was a chevy lover when I met her but after I bought her an 89 5.0 she changed her allegiance pretty damn quick.

Oh...and I need a Beam & Coke over here if you could please. See I'm easy, I don't need no fancy smancy drink.

PKRWUD.I showed my son your car last night(he's 12) and he thought it was cool. He's a big Sprint car fan and I've taken him to Eldora Speedway a couple of times to see them run. He wanted to know if you've ever flipped your's, he thinks that's the neatest thing.(kids )

1969MACH1 I can thank technology for the plate. Ohio has an online system that you can get your plates from without having to go to the register's office. The system is setup to disallow offensive words. It would not allow you to get just MORON. But by adding just a U and a space the computer apparently believes it is someone's name. At least that's what I think. I mess around with it every once in a while to see what I could get. Here are a few I was able to sneak by: SKMYPP(someone already had that one..I actually like it the best. I was really suprised someone already had it. There's a lot of sick people out there )DUM SHT and DUM BTCH. I plan on changing the plate every couple of years to something else(whatever I can get by with) Suprisingly I haven't had any problems with the police yet over it.

BTW I love your car..it's badass!!

LOL. That's great! I love it when kids get into Sprint car racing! It's a fantastic sport, and can always use more fans! In the 3 seasons I've worked for Jim Porter, he has never landed upside down. He's been in wrecks, but always ends up on the wheels. The driver I worked for the year before that, Jim Gresham, went through 3 hoods by June (the only way a Sprint car ruins a hood is by landing on it, upside down)!!! He was an accident waiting to happen.

If your son wants to see more pictures, my website has tons of them, including pictures of us building the car for this season.

As far as license plates go, mine was rejected by the State of California because it was considered to be "gang related", but after I sent them a business card, and a copy of my business license, they approved it (my business is called Peckerwoods Pit Stop).

Take care,
-Chris

I'm going to try to make it out to Eldora this year if I'm able. He asked me when we were going to go back. He used to watch the races when they were on ESPN on Thursday night's. I'll show him the website when I get home. I'm sure he'll like it. I'll let you know what he say's.

I like that plate....it's cool you were able to get it.

ESPN used to tape the races at our track (Ventura Raceway) for TV every week. Sucks that they don't anymore!

Take care,
-Chris

Thanks, I got to drive her to school today and did some cool ****, (Read Beast Unleashed #2) I love the power behind her. But I still find she isn't fast enough for me, even though she was pulling about .54G's from a 20mph role and said to pull apx 300hp. I got all summer to beef her up. I am going to get the carb rebuilt or maybe a new carb pending the price difference. I am going to check if the licence plate "Giddy Up" or of that matter is taken. Or Maybe "1FstPony" I always think of different ones. I wish we had a system like that to check if they were taken. Maybe we do I gotta check and see.

§am.

Yeah that does suck that ESPN doesn't do that anymore. I think it's mainly because of the skateboarders/BMX riders/inline skater's programming they show now. I personally would rather watch a race than a people trying to hold onto their adolescence. They need to try something with a motor on it.
