This came from http://www.thecarconnection.com/inde...&sid=178&n=158

Nice paint job huh?

Notice the interior looks like it did in the other thread I posted.

is that really it? i personally think its fugly. maybe with better paint, rims, tires, and a lowered aggressive look it could work, but i think its definitely a step down from the 99+ body style they are working with now. looks more like a futuristic proto-type dealie than real american muscle. im curious to see the front of it . definitely not impressed

You're kidding right?

They would never drive around on the real rims or even with the real stance, if they can help it. Not even around the block in Dearborn.

What Deuce said...you can't really tell what the car looks like with all the false panels on there, hiding the car from the competition and the public. I doubt, for example, the leopard skin paint is going to be an option when this thing comes out next year. Cool pics to look at though...at least development is on schedule.

obviously those are not the rims or the paint they will use. thats why i said i thought it would look better with the paint, rims and tires that it will ship with. i was basing my opinions on the body shape and style of it. i assumed the body shape and style were pretty set, but if there are "false panels" then i guess i am wrong, sorry. i should have clearly stated all of my opinions were about the body style. when i said paint and rims i meant that maybe that could pull together the style, but i doubt it, i still dont like it. if it looks like that i wont buy one anyway.

Don't sweat it, man...point is just that the car is heavily disguised so the engineers can take it out for a road test without tipping their hand to everybody. Unveiling the final design of a new model is a big event for the company. Where you see the round tail lights on the back, for example, that is a piece of material that attaches to the back end of the car to conceal its true lines.
