Unhappy One of my best friends died today

Yesterday One of my best and long time friends was in a serious wreck and he died today. I've known him for 20 years. He was 27. His family is taking it really hard, his mom's birthday is today . He was following a car home yesterday evening when it made a sudden stop in front of him. He went to swerve out of the way when the driver then turned the car directly in his path. He hit the car in the side. The car behind him ran right into him. He was on his motorcycle so it was worse than what it could have been in a car but then again at 60mph it probably wouldn't have mad that much of a difference. He was a fellow Mustang enthusiast. He left behind a 3 1/2 year old son. Sorry to dump on you guys. This has been real hard on me. I grew up with him, he was more like a brother than a friend. I won't be online much, visitation is tomorrow and the funeral is Saturday. And I'm in the middle of moving. I was going to call him and let him know I was finally moving back to our home town where he still lived. Like I said sorry to dump on you guys I just need to get this off my chest.

Cherish the memories so shared by both of you. Know he is safe and look forward to joining him again one day!

Bro, he's inside of you, he will never be gone.

Default when it rains it pours

Thanks for all your replies guys a gals. I wish I could say it is getting better but it just seems to be getting worse. The same day that Scott died my friend Will's dad died. Then that night some a**hole broke into my new house. I'm not even moved in yet. Now my fiance is in the hospital due to complications from an outpatient surgery she had last week. I think I am gonna need some prozac before all this is over.

Sometimes the valleys in life are like potholes and sometimes they just keep growing until they look more like the Grand freekin Canyon. Hang in there bud, it will get better ... sometimes it doesn't seem like it will but it will. I'm sorry to hear about your friend, stay close to his family they will need your support.
Give yourself some time, then throw your shoulders back, lift your head up, get mad dog mean
then start climbing out of that hole and don't stop for nothin till its behind you.
