Default Tire Question - BFG Scorcher T/A

I found a set of 245-45-17 BFG Scorcher T/A tires on ebay, brand new, never been mounted. I know these are not made any more but I love BFG's, just never had any of these.

The Scorcher T/A was available with yellow, red, or blue bands in the tread, but these are all black.

Anyone ever had any of these? Good, bad, OK? Got to be better than the Capitals I am running now. Please let me know.

Never mind, I got a good look at the tread pattern, it is wierd and assymetrical, I don't want to put those on my car.

Actually they are still made. The ones with the color lines in the tread are not made.

I can get 245/45 17 for 90 bucks a tire. Good autocross tire and dry weather tire.

They were $280 on ebay

I just decided I didn't like the tread pattern, and we have lots of rain here too.

Thats a pretty good price. Add like $50 fo shipping. I looked hard at these but I couldn't get a 275/40-17.

What I really want are some Comp T/A ZR45's but my last set cost $850. BFG's are pricey, I'm just sick of cheap tires, after these last ones no more cheap tires. Just looking for the best deal i can get.
