Friend Dyno #'s / Quarter Mile Times?
We took my friend 91 Coupe to Dynotune Motorsports last night, it has the E7 power heads, comp cam (around 544 lift) systemax lower/stock upper extrude honed, roller rockers, 3.73 gears, bbk x-pipe/equal lengths, flowmaster 40's, C&L 76 meter/inlet tube. He made 259 hp/around 290 tq. Then after we dropped the fuel pressure twice he ended up making 270 hp, 309ft.lbs at the wheels. The guy there was thinking it should be goos for low 13's/high 12's with a good 60ft and good tires. What do you guys think? He's also gonna sell that intake and go with a Systemax II intake. Any suggestions?

What gear???........3.73 - 4.10's???
If so with slicks, and a 5-speed.....I would say 12.60-12.90 range IF DRIVEN RIGHT @ 104-107mph. Need like a 1.70-1.76 60' And a 8.10-8.30 1/8 mile around 84-87mph. I assume the dyno was a dyno jet pulled in top gear. Let me know how off I was. |

Let me know how it runs. Are you guys going to run it in the near future?
If it runs slower then 13.50's (on slicks) there is something deffinitley wrong! |

Definitely low 13's probably high 12's. My car kicked out 238 RWHP and 280 RWTQ at SHM and I ran a 13.6 last weekend on DR's with a poor 60 ft

It should go mid-high 12's on a tire. I made 309 rwhp and wen 12.0's @ 112-113 on ET streets when my old car was on motor.

exgmguy - I thought you were dyno'd on a Mustang Dyno regarding that 309 rwhp number? If so, you would certainly make more (20-30 hp) on a DynoJet.
BTW - I just had Greg (now at Livernois) dyno my 331 (on the Mustang Dyno). Ended up with 330 RWHP and 355 RWTQ on a very safe (12.5:1 a/f) tune. Good guy to work with. Take it easy, E
