You could look at it this way... If your stereo is too loud to hear the engine then you'll probably pay a lot more attention to the tach which I noticed myself not doing a couple times during my first few runs down a strip. But now my cars sounds so smooth with the new exhaust I probably won't want to hear any music.

Whn I'm cruising though my favs are Stevie Ray Vaughn, ZZTop, Johnny Lang, and a few others.

Korn, Metallica (old stuff), Pantera, and White Zombie are all kick @ss. Try Dick Dale's "Miserlou"....you know...that song from Pulp Fiction. Reverend Horton Heat is good too, especially "Ford 5-oh" and "F!cked up Ford". All good songs. Gimme a while and I could come up with more...I work in a music store for gawd sakes.
